Capella Sweet Cream
The Flavour Apprentice Strawberry (Ripe)
Capella/TFA Dragonfruit.

Sounds alright, I'll mix up some tonight.

Thanks Gee, that's useful to know, do you happen to know the %'s for future reference?

It's a shame really as I've got 40 or so concentrates sat in a cupboard, used to love mixing up weird and wonderful concoctions and seeing how they tasted, but these days I just can't be arsed!

My mixing these days stretches as far as buying a 'one-shot' from flavour boss and just adding my own pg/vg/nic. Maybe I'll get into it again eventually (or be forced to as of May next year), but at the moment cheap weekly deals/one shots is fine.

Im curious what that juice will taste like, when u have had a go of it let us know what it tastes like and how it vapes please?

Im hoping they do a custard next week it will be interesting to try one from them.

Will do, I can't imagine it'll be anything short of great, every else so far has been lovely!

I don't mate, I just looked at the description for Dragon's Blood and those 3 flavours were the first that came to my head. I'll have a mix tonight and see what comes of it and give you the percentages.

Shame about the mixing though dude. Have a look on http://www.lediypourlesnuls.com to see if anything takes your fancy. You gotta back on it!

Mod (Cuboid) - https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...hentic-joyetech-cuboid-150w-tc-vw-apv-box-mod (Don't worry that it says 150w, the latest firmware update puts it to 200w)

Charger - https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10002304/2355100-authentic-xtar-vc4-4-slots-li-ion-ni-mh-premium. You need a decent mains to USB charger for this to charge at the highest rate, one that puts out at least 2 Amps. Any decent phone charger should do, although you could get something like this.

Batteries - https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10002357/2363400-authentic-samsung-inr18650-30q-3-6v-3000mah or https://www.fasttech.com/products/1420/10004185/1659700 or https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10002357/2706700-authentic-samsung-inr18650-25r-3-6v-2500mah. Depending on what wattage you're going to be using, either of those will do. Above 50W I'd be looking at the 25R's or VTC5's. Below that, the 30Q's will do.

Thank you,

When I get home I will buy the Charger off amazon and the Cuboid and the 25Rs off FT.

Anything else I should be looking at?

Also do I have to run both batteries or could I just put one in if I'm only running like 90W.

Just note that the Cuboid on FT is showing as having a 7 day lead time, which could mean it won't ship until the 4th August. Batteries from FT also take about 2 weeks to deliver (arrive via Sweden Post).

If you don't mind waiting and saving a bit of cash, by all means use FT. If you want it ASAP however, I'd use the links I provided (Amazon/Ecolux).

You can't use the mod with just one battery either I'm afraid, needs to have 2x 18650's in there. Obviously you can turn the wattage down to 90w etc.

Excellent advice. I was literally just about to ask what batteries would go well with a Cuboid as I'm looking at buying one tomorrow to upgrade from my Cool Fire IV Plus.
I like the ones from Torchy off the'Bay.
3000mAh, rated at 30A - Can't remember what model they are, though. I think they're Samsungs...

Guys I have £40 - £50 to spend to try and ween my wife off the fags
Any kit recommendations to start her off?
+1 for the Joyetech AIO.
It has the same tank as my daily MTL vape, but built in and with cool LED effect.... which can be disabled if you don't like it!

Thinking of getting another mod, something a bit more portable than an RX200. Any suggestions? Dual cell is a must, will be vamping around 100w.
Again, the Cuboid is about the most pocket-friendly around, IMO.
Most others are good, comfy hand-fillers but bigger in the pocket.

Also do I have to run both batteries or could I just put one in if I'm only running like 90W.
Doesn't work like that - They're usually in series, not parallel.
Plus you likely want two cells if you're up at 90w!!

Having very recently bought some of these batteries from Torchy, it looks like he has stopped doing the Samsung 30Q's per say, and now selling 'Shockli 3000mAh' batteries, which are in actual fact rewrapped Samsung 30Q's

I got a bit thrown off initially when trying to find them (as I'd bought some from him explicitly named 'Samsung 30Q'), but eventually worked it out! ;)

I've had some of their grape soda steeping since it was on offer (probably just shy of a month now) and it's still delivering a mother of a throat him, I've emailed them and they're gonna replace them but still I'm not getting my hopes up.

Curious as to why you recommend 30Q's only for 50W or below? I've seen a few people mention opt for 25R's when using higher power/lower resistance rather than the 30Q's. I've seen a few charts and I'm sure they are good for 20/25Amps even my wraps from Torchy say 30A Max although I obviously don't push them to that... Yet I've seen them rated at 15AMP max on GreyHaze site.. So I do get a little confused when it comes to batteries as everyones numbers are completely different! (Not challenging just curious)

I'd take anything Torchy says with a pinch of salt. If you want battery advice, look up Mooch on ECF - https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/mooch.256958/

The graphs I had seen back in the day was infact Mooch and not Torchy I got mixed up! Just read up on the 30Q's and they are good for 20A.

"Bottom Line
Though rated at 15A by Samsung, to ensure low operating temperature and long life, this is a pretty good 20A continuous discharge rating (CDR) cell."

Although think Ill grab another pair of Samsung 25R for my low resistance/high'ish wattage builds as they seem to be described as true 20A 18650's. I'll be fine with both as I don't push them too hard and only short pulses when I do.

Will bookmark Mooch's battery findings!

Edit: Think ill retire the 30Qs to higher resistance/lower wattage setups!

Bold Vape have 2x Samsung 25R for £10 with free postage I think but almost feels to good to be true! Can anyone vouch for the authenticity Bold Vape's 18650's?

*BATTERY INFORMATION*

Just had a question from a customer about the white stickers you will sometimes find on the battery's. Just so you all know these are put on by shipping agents not the manufacturers of the Cells. They do this so as to comply with the rigid shipping regulations imposed by the likes of DHL, UPS, etc. Sometimes they put the incorrect sticker on (just to save time I guess). Bold Vape can confirm that all or batteries are legitimate and that you can see what battery it is underneath the sticker.

Otherwise can anyone recommend me a UK based seller for some Samsung 25R's that are known to be authentic?

Good point, thanks for bringing it up - From the first time I saw Torchy's listing I knew the actual capabilities of a 30Q regardless of what the wraps were telling me (as I already own some - and I specifically wanted 30Q's), but I'm sure newer people to vaping wouldn't pick up on it.

I only vape at 15 - 40W these days anyway so I don't need to be as cautious (loosely speaking!!) as those who vape day to day at much higher wattages, on that basis I didn't even think mention it, my bad!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291817110383 - This is the listing I believe I used.

Gave mixing this Dragon's Blood a go mate.

10% Dragonfruit (TFA)
4% Strawberry Ripe (TFA)
2% Sweet Cream (CAP)
3% Vanilla Swirl (TFA)
1% Ethyl Maltol

__

Off the bat, it's alright. I think due to the creams it needs a bit of time. I'll leave it for a couple days and update. May need to up the Strawberry or try it with CAP Sweet Strawberry.

Tried the rhubarb and custard in the melo and its still not good :( So anyone gona try it at rejuiced might wana rethink. Could be me like but i dunno. Their raspberry rasputin was great tho.

Joyetech AIO or the Kanger EVOD Pro kit should be alright to start her off with. Not too expensive either so if she doesn't get along with it, you've not wasted too much.

Istick pico kit off FT takes 14 days after they say its shipped singpost registered about 25 quid comes with melo 3 mini tank which is good

2x samsung 30q batteries from batteryplus site £13 delivered

can get a xtar single slot charger for 5er from ebay or just use usb charging and save money on charger

rejuiced 30ml for the juice of the week for just over £5 delivered. If your doing direct to lung its good as its 70vg and 30pg and get 3mg nic. If your doing mouth to lung maybe need a different tank and get 50/50 juice with higher nic content if u need it.

Should be a good start for you. Just bought all this and its the best setup ive had since buying a istick 30w and nautilus mini and magma clone. by a mile.

I think u can mouth to lung hit on the melo 3 mini but not sure as not tried yet, as ive been doing direct to lung. If you want to do mouth to lung maybe grab a nautilus x tank to go on the pico?

Get her to watch https://www.youtube.com/user/TiaVapes as she might appreciate reviews from her?

Also this kit which is £25 and if u use code EXIT10 u get 10% off too.
https://www.vapeinc.com/collections/e-cigarette-kits/products/aspire-nautilus-premium-kit which would be good for mouth to lung.

Also some cheaper ish offers on box mods and stuff at VVapes recently. https://www.vampirevape.co.uk/special-offers.html

Thanks chaps I'll have a read up ;)

Decided not to get a new box mod - just picked up the Smok TFV8.

My god that thing puts up out a lot of vapour with the Octo-coil or whatever its called. Too much for my lungs to handle!

After trying the American Grape Soda from Rejuiced in all of my tanks now, all of them are leaking. I haven't had any leaks with any other juices, the Blue Slush I bought the week after has been perfect. I'm going to email them tomorrow and see if they'll replace it for me, it's definitely not right.. :(

My Crown v2 arrived yesterday. Really impressed with the build quality it's a really solid tank. The first few hits off it were seriously disgusting. The coils must be finished with machine oil. it tasted like what I would imagine sucking on the exhaust pipe of a tractor would taste like, or inhaling the fumes off a fresh tar mac road. Really really not good.. I don't know why after building such an awesome tank, Uwell would ship these out with coils coated in oil :( I hope it is a one off.

If I remove the initial poisoning from it I would say it's an amazing tank. No issues with it now and the flavour and vapour production are spot on. Smoothest vape I've had, the airflow is perfect. Have only used it for a day but it's definitely a keeper :)
