The Eleaf coils are junk. Whip it out and pop a 0.4 Ohm Triton coil in there. Then the tank absolutely shines.
What's the concern?Although I don't like the idea of charging 18650s and all that. So USB Charging is a must.
Not so much with a built-in battery, I don't think, no... I would have said the 200w Cuboid regular, but you don't seem to want those.I was looking at the Cuboid Mini 80W is there anything better?
The Coilmaster tool kit should have everything you need... apart from your choice of wire and cotton, obviously. Also if anyone can link me the stuff to get for coil building on the Cleito RTA that would be grand.
Eleaf tanks in general seem to lack a bit of punch. The Eleaf coils are junk. Whip it out and pop a 0.4 Ohm Triton coil in there. Then the tank absolutely shines.
If you don't have the original, then yeah get the 25mm Limitless RTDA Plus... especially if you've never tried an RDTA before.
I got one the other day and it performs fantastically... possibly too much, IMO. Mine is a replacement for my lost Cleito, but it's like going from a precision rifle to an 81mm mortar!!
Definitely not a leisure-vaping tank... or even an indoor one.
Build quality is great, function is awesome. Everything adjusts eaily and securely, everything fits, accessories are everything you could want, building is ****-easy - Cut the wick level with the top of the glass for best results. Anything below about 2.5mm will not have a sufficiently thick wick to keep it from leaking, though...
Airflow on this is tremendous and flavour is better than all my Drippers.
Only two difficulties so far:
1/. The fill port is messy if you use pippette bottles and the glass tips can break easily.
2/. The amazing performance means I'm having to learn properly about coiling, as I try to find the right balance between resistance and wattage for both economy (of power and juice consumption) and for a still decent vaping experience.
But still, despite my newbie struggles I just look at the thing and feel I've gotten my money's worth.
1/. Try pulling harder/drawing faster to ger more airflow and cool the coil/vapour.I dunno how people can vape at 45 or over watts on this pico with the melo 3 mini its far too warm and not very comfortable vape. Plus hard as hell to take a deep lung hit with that vape being so warm.
Sounds like you've found your happy place with it, then.So im over the moon with that with vaping at around 35-37w. The coil seems to be reading 0.26 now for some reason.
4/. Throw the Melo away and put a decent tank on!
1/. Try pulling harder/drawing faster to ger more airflow and cool the coil/vapour.
2/. Try a lower VG juice?
3/. Vape at whatever power/temp you are most comfortable with, not what other people think - My 40-60w Cleito never got more than 35w for 60VG liquids.
4/. Throw the Melo away and put a decent tank on!

Wire resistance changes as the coil heats up. For this reason, Temp Control coils (Ni, Ti, SS316) require you to lock the resistance at room temp before you vape on it, so it has a baseline to measure.
What's the concern?
Just get a decent charger and you'll be fine - I recommend the Nitecore D4, personally.
It's FAR better to carry a spare cell or two in a little box than be stuffed without a USB charging point... and you get a much wider choice of mods!
Will take the advice onboard. Btw ordered a serpent mini dunno if u knew, last week so lookin forward to seeing how that is compared to the magma dripper i had and the melo 3 mini and the naut mini. Good reviews from on here so hope it was worth the 16 quid from gearbest.
Don't knock it just because it's made by Eleaf.
Joking!!!The Melo 3 Mini is a really good tank actually. Don't knock it just because it's made by Eleaf.
Btw anyone know any good places to get cheap drip tips. Looked online but there very over priced for what is just a bit of plastic with a plastic ring i mean £1 or more for 1 lol. I really like the drip tip i got with the melo 3 so fancy some of these.
