I recently bought the Pico/Melo mini combo as a walkabout set-up. I've just tried mouth to lung with it and it's possible (although didn't feel natural) if you dial the airflow right down. Personally, I'd go with the nautilus for mouth to lung as suggested.

I'm liking the combo while I'm out and about. Nice and small but with enough oomph to keep me happy. The guy in the shop set it up with a 0.25 ohm coil. Vaping at 65W with 80/20 juice - good clouds :)
Might try the Triton coils as recommended by Rilot.

Off the bat, it's alright. I think due to the creams it needs a bit of time. I'll leave it for a couple days and update. May need to up the Strawberry or try it with CAP Sweet Strawberry.

So I've left this overnight and the flavours are really coming out now. Dragonfruit up front with just enough Strawberry on the exhale. Combination of creams make it sweet enough but not too sickly.

Think I'll be keeping this in rotation.

Also misc items like some Duracell Rechargable AA/AAA Batteries, battery holders and such.

Its all going to arrive in so many different deliveries :(

I've just had a friend tell me that the VTC5's arent made anymore and the ones I have just bought are likely fakes? I bought from the Ebay seller listed above. (EcoLux)

Anyone got any information on this?

Your friend is incorrect. Sony are indeed still making the VTC5's. They're mostly made in China now as opposed to Japan. Ecolux are a genuine seller so you'll have ZERO issues.

Thank you for this, also just bought another Vapour Depot mystery box... Ill let them help me build a dripper with wire and cotton lol.

There goes £100. Who said this was cheaper than smoking? ;)
 
Hmm woke up and the melo 3 was low on juice so topped it up as you do, noticed after 10 min rest that i was getting a lot of juice when i vape in my mouth, i did the thing where u take drip tip off put some cloth over and shake down and some came out, but still some that seems to come up when vaping. Any idea why that would be? Not enough watts? Im at 33w on the 0.3 coil so should be fine, was before. Only thing thats changed is i tipped out the rhubarb and custard and put the raspberry back in.

Have you tried making big mamas milk?

It's my favorite out of the lot I've tried. Espically when steeped for a few weeks.

I haven't! Says it's a mixture of 4 creams with strawberry. I'm guessing it's very much like Mother's Milk. Could probably rustle something up.

Tried bumping up the wattage to 40? Probably just excess juice on the coil that needs vaporising.
 
I will give it a try.

Hope it doesnt take too long to vape out all that rhubarb and custard out of the coil so the taste of raspberry as it was the first time i got it starts coming through again.

Yeah I know. I've recently been trying some more 'premium' stuff like http://charlieschalkdust.com/ and it is better. Paid £16 for 30ml of that stuff!

I'll give the Perino a go and report back.

It's not always as black and white as you make out though.

I've tried some of the cheaper juices recommended here. Last one was Dragons Rise and it was utter ****. I am also not fond of Rejuiced although I haven't tried all of their range but what I did try I wasn't satisfied with.

Then you get Urban Cloudz brand of eliquids make some great juices, non artificial, non perfume and taste great whilst being reasonably priced. There are other "companies" also that are decent alchemists and make fantastic juice that fall under this category.

T-Max Snake Oil falls under premium ejuice and NOBODY has close to mastering the stuff he makes. Yes I've tried the clones and they are vile. So I will happily once a year buy a bottle of Snake Oil as it is an original flavour and non of that strawberry milkshake crap that everyone can make.

Additionally Stash eliquids Golden Road and Lushington are untouchable and is quite expensive since it is a USA based company.

You can't just knock a company for selling premium ejuice because not everyone is your run of the mill strawberry milkshake alchemist. What I cannot defend is expensive eliquid that tastes the same as the thousands of others out there and has not been laboratory tested.

I ordered a bottle of Rejuiced 'Dragon's Milk' last night to see how similar it is to the version I made. I think the general consensus with Rejuiced is that they need a week or so of breathing/steeping.

I made a clone of Snake Oil from a recipe originally linked on r/ecr_eu (here). I'm not sure what recipe you used but this was very similar to the original. Shame they don't make a 1.5mg version as I'd buy some. It's Diketone free too!

'Dream Creame' by Charlie's Chalk Dust is an example of this. 904ppm (parts per million) of AP. At £16 a bottle, you'd expect some sort of safety/GC-MS testing certificates available. It's not THAT expensive to get your liquid tested in a lab. If more companies did, I'd probably still continue to buy off the shelf 'premium' stuff on occasion.

Personally I'm happy making 'cloned' recipes that're similar (if not better) for half the price, using concentrates that I know are clean. Each to their own, I guess.
