Newish batteries charged via unit work in other, older vape. Nothing is working. Hense the suggestions on new mod or kit. Shame really as I liked using it.
Can you get it to turn on at all and if so is there any reset function? But I would email Geekvape and let them know you're not happy and will not trust their products again. You never know, they might replace it for you whether you're under warranty or not. You should definitely invest in a dedicated charger like a Nitecore.
I accidentally knocked my new OBS Engine to the floor last night while it was on my Sigelei mod, and it shattered the glass, although it stayed intact until I removed it. One thing I'll say about the Sigelei, it's built strong as it still works after several drops. I'm glad the OBS came with a spare glass! The metal looks unscratched. Ordered a 100ml bottle of 72mg PG nic from nichub, two 50ml amber glass bottles and a bunch of 10ml ldpe. And a couple of 250ml hdpe bottles for decanting my PG and VG into to replace the ones I've been using.
Do your glass bottles have pipettes on them? Personally I would've got one 100ml glass bottle, decant the nic into that then pour say 30ml or so into a squeezy bottle, then top-up when you need to. Store the bulk in the freezer, 30ml in the fridge.
GeekVape Aegis Legend needs batteries removed when plugged into PC or it does nothing.Yeah, juts wont turn on at all. like I mentioned the mod isnt even being recognised when plugged into the pc. I have took it apart and all connections are fine and wiring etc.
Sorry to here that bro, you'll come out a stronger person, rooting for youLong time no see.
Had an extremely rough 3 months or so
I'm being super over cautious though about glass in my freezer and accidental breakage. I'm going to put the bottles in a leakproof plastic bag (well, reasonably leakproof) with plenty of kitchen roll in the bag to soak up any nic if the bottles break, and that bag will be in a small leakproof Tupperware type container, also with plenty of kitchen roll. Somewhat OTT but better safer than sorry.
IIRC PG freezes at like -60c, which is way too cold for any normal freezer. I've had 2 litres of PG in my freezer (in glass bottles) for about two years and they haven't cracked or anything. They're still in the sealed bags from Darkstar.
I wouldn't worry.
Yeah, although I'm not thinking of the liquid freezing and making the bottles crack but just taking precaution in case the bottles accidentally get cracked in some other way, perhaps getting knocked by something else I put in there or even dropping a bottle on my way from the freezer to mixing table. Nic is nasty stuff.
I've had 72mg on my hands plenty of times, no big deal if you wash it off straight away.
Dead Rabbit RTA is arriving for me at some point today or tomorrow. I'm quite looking forward to it. It'll be my first real RTA as I've only used RDAs in the past because I struggle with wicking bottom airflow RTAs and they always leak for me, so I'm hoping the Dead Rabbit RTA will work out well for me.
I can't afford to vape on stock coil tanks, so I needed to go with an RTA.
Awesome. Did yours get dispatched after the 30th from fasttech? That was their original pre-order ETA and now I see the ETA is the 12th. And Fasttech went on holiday from the 1st for a week.
