I got a Wismec Rxmini for out and about, its pretty small and packs a decent punch. Though probably wont last all day if you vape a lot.

Can anyone recommend any RDA / RTA pre-made coils that are compatible with temperature control at all? The coils I've got at the moment are Demon Killer coils, and they work great but they don't say what metal they are made from so I can't use them with temperature control, unfortunately.

I'm also not sure what the best metal to use is for temperature control. What is the best for flavour?
 
The best coils for temp control are SS, Ni80 or kanthal wont work on its own for tc.How ever some times Ni80 and kanthal is used with SS in fused claptons and that does work in TC.
Sorry cant help with which pre built coils to buy, just look for straight SS and they will work fine.

If you have a DNA75c or DNA250c, replay is just a 1 button push to enable TC no messing around setting values.
 
SS316L is all i use for my coils, good thing is it can be used for Tc and wattage.The resistance does fluctuate slightly when you press the fire button in wattage, no big deal though.For me it gives the best flavour out of all the wires.

If you dont wrap your own fused claptons, coilology wire is really decent, they do a decent range in both ni80 and SS.
 
Evening. Been while since I have needed anything new. Still happy with my Pico & Subtank setup, but the Kanger subtank has had it.

What is a good replacement for the Kanger Subtank? Would prefer to buy from somewhere I can get a decent sized tank (Fastech) and I want to be able to buy coils easily, can't be bothered with rebuildables.

Aspire Cleito, not the 120 or the Exo but the original, still widely stocked and you can pop a fat boy glass on it giving you a 5ml tank, coils are around £10 for 5.

Considering I used to spend £10 a day on smoking spending £10 for 48 coils isn't really a problem. I'm still saving a shed load of cash.

Once you get the hang of wrapping fused clapton wire its very easy, all you need is a cordless drill and a couple of sea fishing snap swivels.

a lot of people havent got the time or patience to wrap their own wire, coilology wire comes on a spool and is pretty decent for the price, about £6>7 a spool.

Yeah, I've seen videos of making Claptons and it's not as easy and is more time consuming than regular micro coils. Regular coils though take a few minutes, are fun to make and then they last ages before needing to coil again.

Short term hack is to take a needle and poke some holes in the cotton to aid wicking - just while you use up what ever coils you have left. Ive gone to innokin for coils and the Scion 2 tank with bubble glass. Does the job and nice and easy, plexus (mesh) coils seem to have a decent life on them and a great flavour hit.

Thanks might try that. Someone recommened mesh coils for the V8 Baby. Bought some which are labelled as working with the Prince Baby and V8 Baby and they wont even screw in. They're blatantly too big and only fit if you remove to o ring :mad:

Yeah man, no problem. They are really good tanks and I enjoyed them for a while, but I moved on to other things and they're just sat in a box doing nothing. Quite happy for you to have them, seems a shame for them not to be enjoyed. Is there a way you can private message me with your address etc and I'll get them off to you. We can work out postage and stuff after.

Thanks! I can pm you, but you need to configure your Trust. Click the Trust box on the right and configure. Basically it works that the first message I send goes through the server, but I reveal my email address to you then. You can then just email me back.
 
Finally, I received something from Fasttech and Royal Mail actually didn't mess up this time. Only took 4 months since the original order! :D I'll stick with Singapore post. Everything with China Post/Express E packet got lost, albeit it seemed to be RM's fault.




But anyway, they shipped this replacement just under 2 weeks ago so that's not bad. They can now ship the rest of my stuff as I had asked them to only send one item and if it didn't turn up, to refund me the rest. It's given me a chance to make changes. Going to buy two Dead Rabbit RTAs, change the colour of the Geekvape Zeus from blue to gunmetal and get a refund on the OBS 2.
