***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

They're not bad but the charge rate on them is pretty crap (500mah x2).
Assuming it's the same on the D4 - Slower is meant to be better for your battery lifespan, isn't it?
TBH, I just chuck them on charge until they're done. I've never timed it... but then I also have 8 other 18650s to use in the meantime!

I think the Asmodus Minikin slightly beats the Cuboid on size though, been my every day carry now for about 3 weeks.
It's shorter and slightly shallower, but wider. I couldn't get it in the pouch next to my Pico... I can with the Cuboid.

IIRC the D4 does 4 cells at 0.375A each, or 375mAh.

To a point, yes. Most 18650s have a standard charge rate of anywhere between 1A-1.5A and a rapid charge rate of up to 4A. Providing your batteries aren't getting warm whilst charging (as that damages them), you'll be fine.

My charger (Opus BT-C3100) can charge 2 cells at 2A each, it has a fan on it though that exhausts the heat out, so they never get warm. I usually put them on a 1A charge though, but if I'm in a rush, 2A it is.

Too much PG for my liking.

Get the concentrate from their site and mix it to whatever ratio you want.
???
Profit.

750mAh for single cells, or I guess single charge circuits, since 375 is when "The charge circuit time sharing between two batteries"...

But that means even a single cell is charging at 0.75mAh, whereas you say:

How is this 0.75 good enough then?

The D4 can charge two cells at 750mAh, providing you use the two outer slots. If four are populated, each cell charges at 375mAh.

750mAh is a perfectly acceptable charge rate, it's just obviously slower than say a 1A or 2A charge.

Have the exact same setup in black with me right now, coupled with some blue slush from Flavour Boss :D

A winning combination!

What kind of build are you running? Currently have a .36 clapton @ 25 watts. Massively underpowering the coil but I'm finding it a more satisfying vape that the 1.4ohm @ 15watts I had in there last week. Fortunately the battery is still lasting me a full day.

The silver tank has a 28/32 316L 3mm ID clapton around .52ohms and the black has a 26/32 316l 2.5mm ID clapton around .35ohms, running both at 35w and 200c TC limit, great flavour and good clouds, im happy with the heat from them too, though replaced the naff dript tips with better delrin tips as i found the standard supplied tips got too hot.

I plugged the 30Q's into a mates charger at work that does 1A charging. Out of the envelope they were quite flat (showing maybe 1/5th of charge on the Cuboid). Left them to charge for about 3 hours at 1A, then left work, checked them in the Cuboid again, showing about half full. Got them home and into that Nitecore D2 I bought - they've been on for 2.5hours and still not fully charged :p

Definitely gonna need another set of batteries to keep at the ready!

I really fancy a Tesla stealth, Pico or Piece mega. Can not decide so will have to check my 2 locals for sizing. The Stealth is the coolest but no VW. Hmmm. Piece mega with an RTA Cleito and the 5ml glass?

All i can say is the pico with the melo 3 mini on it has been great so far for me its really quick to get coils up to heat and give off a nice vapor production. Nice and small for hand. And i think rather stylish. Dunno about others u said brackish but the pico is great.

If I had to choose I'd take the Pico Mega. Battery life is great from decent 26650 cells such as Basen Blacks. Always the 18650 sleeve if you want to use those too.

I haven't posted much in here but I have been lurking a bit. Having seen a lot of talk about Rejuiced lately, i thought I'd give them a go. I ordered the juices in the picture below yesterday. I had an email less than 5 minutes after I'd ordered to say they'd been dispatched and I got them this morning - excellent service.

So far I've only given the "Big Mama's Milk" a try in my carry around set-up. Initial impressions are not bad; I'm looking forward to trying the others.

While I'm posting photos, I may as well post photos of what I'm using at the moment:

On the left, my home kit - X-Cube II with a Kanger sub-tank plus. I have a 0.5Ω OCC coil (reads 0.61Ω on the mod) in there with some Apple Donut juice from a local guy. Vaping at 40W.
The other is my carry around kit which is the popular Pico mod with Melo 3 Mini tank combo. In there is a 0.3Ω Triton coil with the Big Mama's Milk. Vaping that at 55W.

Here's a silly question, when should I be changing out the batteries in my Cuboid? Do I wait for them to go completely flat or can I just change them out at the end of the day (if there's still say half the charge remaining)?

First mod with seperate batteries so I'm not sure if I'll be killing them by charging them too soon/too late.

Li-Ion batteries don't suffer from 'memory' issues like NiCd/NiMH do, where by you need to discharge them fully in order to keep them in good shape.

With Li-Ion cells, regular discharging and recharging multiple times is better for long battery life.

Mooch over on ECF has a really good guide on do's and dont's with regards to batteries/charging.

FWIW, I take mine out when I get home, put in a fresh pair and put the ones I've used on charge. Once they're charged I'll take them off the charger and use those for the next day.

__

Edit: I forgot to mention, I'd get a sharpie or something and mark A & B/1 & 2/OC & UK or something on each of your batteries that you're using with the cuboid, as you want to keep them married as a pair.

You also want to keep those batteries strictly for your Cuboid, and not use them with any other device. That way, you're making sure they're discharging equally and as to not damage the mod or risk injury.

Good practice is to always swap them around in the device, so say put A in the positive slot, and B in the negative slot. Then when you come to put them back in after a charge, swap them around (A in negative/B in positive etc). IIRC it's usually the slot closest to the 510 pin that takes the brunt of the battery first.

That's perfect, and that link was very helpful - again, thank you very much for your help :)

I think I'll do what you do in that case, I charge my batteries on my desk at work so they're never unattended really, the 30Q's last a hell of a long time so I'll vape as usual with them, and just swap to the charged set before leaving work. The recharge can wait until the next morning :)

I got given a set of LG HE4's from a guy at work so those are my secondary batteries, the different colours should mean I don't accidentally mix up the pairs :D

No worries at all dude. I've edited my post since so have a read on what I said about married pairs etc.

I wouldn't use those HE4's unless they've been used as a pair.
