***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

Great stuff thanks for the advice!

I am looking at where to buy some more atomizers for the future and have seen a lot of people mention fasttech.

These atomizers mention a cubis pro tank, are these the correct ones for the vape I have?

Get the Authentic ones, the one's you linked are clones.

These should work:

I have a Cuboid, It has TCR but i have no idea how to use it!
It also has a setting for SS in temp control! ;)

As a non smoker ... who enjoys the occasional cigar, is vaping something I should give a go?
Yes, definitely. My two friends who used to smoke pipes and cigars are now full-on converted vapers, happily chugging away on SubOhm tanks and now even drippers... Both seem to enjoy the beverage types of flavour, especially the Alchemy range of tea flavours.

The one thing I dislike about cigars is the lingering smell afterwards, do you find vaping leaves a smell in the room/car?
Only if you keep it tightly shut and vape heavily for long periods. It's more of a general sweetness than an actual scent, though.

Would I be right in thinking that closing the airflow slightly would produce less vape?
Yes, no, maybe... It depends partly on the tank and the coils being used, as well as the setting.
Airflow is a factor, but closing it too much can choke some coils and you'll flood them.
SubOhm coils and drippers need massive airflow, both to get the big clouds and to keep the coils cool.
Lastly - My current tank, same coil, same juice, same airflow, but the vape at 45w is a small puff compared to the outright fog at 75w.

And finally, the 0 nic juices, do you find these taste as good as the ones with a higher nic content?
Depends on the juice.
I find a lot of the flavours I like are better with a bit of nic, especially the tobacco ones.

Had a little play with various wires I've accumulated...

Chinese 'Alien' staged with 22awg A1, single coil over a 3.4mm bit in the Tsunami 24, came to 0.19ohm (hence it only being the single coil!)

Performs great at 80w, easily room for more, now to figure out how to slim it down a little and shoe horn it into the serpent :D

E: Noisy Cricket V2: http://www.wismec.com/product/noisy-cricket-ii-25/ features series and parallel caps as well as a potentiometer :)

I have some questions for all you vape enthusiasts.

I have been considering the Istick Pico 75w, the amount of vape it produces is quite impressive for something so cheap! Would I be right in thinking that closing the airflow slightly would produce less vape?

If it is just the occasional cigar, I would stick with them personally. Vaping will not recreate anything other than the nicotine buzz. You might get addicted

That pairing looks great Combat. I am also loving the Griffin 25 Mini but unfortunately it dosen't screw down flush on my Tesla Invader 3 therefore thinking of picking up a Smok - H Priv in silver to match it unless I see something else. (

What build have you got in there? Running it in TC I know that much :D

Edit: Actually perhaps will give the H Priv a miss since I imagine the Griffin will overlap ever so slightly onto the screen which would bug me!

When you say cigars, do you mean Hamlet's or something of better quality? If it's the latter, I wouldn't bother getting an ecig mate. I think you'll struggle to find any e-liquid that tastes like a good quality cigar imo. When you say occasional? How many do you mean? 1 a week?

With regards to 0 nicotine e-liquid, nicotine shouldn't have any adverse effects on altering the taste of the juice. If it does, they're probably using some low quality nic or some that's oxidised too much.

I usually buy a selection of random ones when they are reduced on simply cigars.

In all honesty the cigars are a once in a while thing now as the Mrs hates the smell they leave behind. The main reason for considering vaping was so I don't get the ear full when she can smell it the next day :D

In that case, I really wouldn't bother getting one if it's a once in a while thing.

Shame we can't get e-cigars like Big Boss :p

Tornado Nano arrived from FT today, unusually quick delivery by RM, only been in the UK 4 days this time :D

What a lovely little tank, can't complain at all for the £10 and I haven't even got the RTA section in yet :D

So looking for a little help, I've got a PICO mini, with the III mini tank. Using the standard .3ohm coils.

They are only lasting a few days. Infact I changed one last night, and it's starting to feel burnt already. I prep them by putting some juice in the cotton holes, and only run it about 30W. What am I doing wrong?

I really like mine. Been using it for a couple of months now. I found with the pre-built head, I had to take out some of the cotton for it to work properly although I just use the RTA head in it now. Solid vape.

Yeah I'd seen that in a review, cut a good chunk of cotton out of the pre made head, wicks and vapes really well, very smooth vape, once I've finished this tank its time for the RTA head though :D

Mostly rejuiced. I did use some local stuff last night as it was in my work cupboard.
