***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

Arrived today, perfect size, works really nice - my own gripe is it doesn't have an auto-power-off after so many minutes!
Ah, I didn't realise that would be a required feature but I guess it would be beneficial if keeping in your pocket all day. You can manually do it with 5 clicks, but assume you already know :)

Glad you like it, gives a lovely draw and flavour :) You know about the it having two different airflow strengths depending on which way you insert the cartridge/pod, and the auto-pull-fire thing (just breath in, no need to press the button), yeh?

Hope you enjoy it.

Hi guys, anyone know of a UK that stocks the Vandyvape pr se kit - most seem to be china drop shippers, been out of the loop for a while and noticed a lot of the sites either dont exist anymore or they have no stock or moved to the disposable and pod systems.

Good juice haul from Washington Vapes, bought 1000ml and got 800ml free.
I wish i could do that, i am so fussy with juice, half of mine ends up going to my best mate as always trying different liquids and not enjoying. Got 3 that i really enjoy. If you want some fun try Dripper Labs. They let you make your own juices and mix them for you. You can then refine your recipes and when satisfied with them you can let them sell them and receive a commision for your recipe based on sales. Good fun

may have fallen off the ol' bandwagon for a bit and looking to get back on

in need of something in the ~50-60w range, was using an ofrf previously which generally seemed to do the job but figured might be worth asking the hivemind if there's anything else worth considering?

also suggestions for a twin 18650 mod?

also suggestions for a twin 18650 mod?

I've tried god knows how many mods and finally settled on a Voopoo Drag 3.
The batteries last all day (i'm a heavy vaper) and i get a 5-7 days from the coils (which are fairly cheap, £7 for 3).
It's not overly fancy, has never leaked and just does what i want it to.
Also the tank is magnetic and the coil just presses in, so no messing about with unscrewing anything.

Got my Uwell Caliburn G2 yesterday. Pull wise / flavour wise it's just as good as the G, however the pod system seems much better. Nicer mouth piece, better customisable airflow (via new wheel), less condensation (so far), bigger battery and overall build quality seems much tighter. So far very happy with the upgrade :)

Arrived today, perfect size, works really nice - my own gripe is it doesn't have an auto-power-off after so many minutes!
So the G2 still doesn't have this feature but it does have a button which is flush with the body now making it slightly harder to accidentally press.

Looking for suggestions on e-liquid bottles that don't leak.

I like the e-liquid I buy but the bottles are crap and I am forever having to clear it up. So looking for something that I can decant the liquid into.

This is the style they currently ship with and you can see the liquid building up around the top

I previous bought some of these and the cap was excellent but the seal on the bottom of the bottle broke very quickly which resulted in big leaks

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Cheers

The ones on darkstar i've never had an issue with. 60ml and 250ml. Worth a look if you're making your own juice.

Thank you, I will check these out also.

I keep considering making my own liquid and really should look into this further as I am sure it will save me a fortune! Is Darkstar a good place to buy all the ingredients needed?

I buy my PG, VG and nic from there but don't use their flavourings. It will absolutely save you a lot of money. I didn't know they sold bottles, look very similar to the ibottles bottles only slightly more expensive but would save on postage so I'll try those next time

I have bought the bottles from iBottles as you suggested yesterday and also added some of the larger bottles (500ml) you also mentioned to the order as I was paying the postage anyway.

If I was to start mixing my own would I just need to buy a bottle VG a bottle of PG some nic shots?

Darkstar sell their own mix, but it's fixed. Not that mixing 2 ingredients is difficult, it's just one thing less to do, and a lot less messy!

You need a syringe to measure, bottles, nicotine, PG and VG, plus whatever flavour you want. I just go with 50/50ish VG/PG, about 7 nicotine bottles thrown in, and done. No flavour for me. But i have used darkstar and various other sources flavours and they're all the much the same.

Mix up a large amount, then use that to fill up the little bottles on a daily or weekly basis. Saves making juice all the time. You can squirt a bit of flavour concentrate into the small bottles when you refill them from the big bottle.

Loads of vape juice calculators online that give measurements. Easy to do, and you can add more of anything to counter if something else is too strong.

I don't use flavourings anymore I just vape VG/Pg and nic

I empty the 250ml of Pg and 250ml of VG into the large bottle and shake. That makes 500ml of 50/50 base mix.

Then take a 60 ml bottle, add 2 X 50/50 nic shots and top up to the shoulder of the 60ml bottle with the base mix. That makes 60ml 6mg of flavourless 50/50 juice

This works for me because I MTL vape 50/50 juice, if you DTL you might want 70/30

Do you have to burn off a cotton taste with your fresh coils? I've not used flavour in a long time, but that new cotton taste is annoying. 24hrs soaking and blowing through the air holes to burn it off is what i do, but just wondered does your coils get it?

I barely notice it tbh, only for the first few pulls then it goes, that's with various different types of coils. I only let it sit for ten mins too

Are you using 70/30? Might be the thicker juice not soaking the coil as quickly
