***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

Got myself a squonker! Picked up the Coppervape BF mod in brass for £37, direct from Coppervape on facebook, and a brass SXK Kennedy 24 clone from Fasttech. Modded the pin on the Kennedy to allow for bottom feed, and I have to say I love it! Weighs a ton though, it's heavier than my Reuleaux!

Quality is outstanding on both, for the price. For anyone considering squonking, that doesn't mind mechs, check out the Coppervape, there's a good thread on it over on ECF.

Got my new augvape merlin with a 0.4 Clapton in it, great tank and easy to build on for a n00b to building like me :-)

Sits nice on my VF stout.

Just got a vaporesso target mini too for taking out to the pub, it will be joined by my serpent mini when I can be bothered rebuilding it. Just got a cleito on it for now

In that case, I really wouldn't bother getting one if it's a once in a while thing.

Shame we can't get e-cigars like Big Boss :p

Ah cigar and tobacco vapes reminds me of good ole Georgio and Houseofliquid.com Man they were the closest to vaping a nice Cuban.
They used to gunk coils and wicks up quick, boy it was tasty though.
Sure they did ecigars too.
Doubt I could vape their stuff now though with only vaping low mg nic now.

Bought myself a coil building kit and a Tsunami RDA. Had my first attempt at building coils today. I did a dual coil, 7 wrap build with Clapton wire (26GA+32GA). Build came in at 0.41 ohms. Surprisingly few problems for a first build (I had watched several videos on YouTube).

First impressions: It was good fun to build my own coils; The flavour is remarkably good and huge clouds (vaping at 50W on my new Cuboid mod). Only drawback really is having to keep dripping after a few hits.

The Melo 3 Mini is a really good tank actually. Don't knock it just because it's made by Eleaf. The stock Eleaf coils let it down but with Atlantis or Triton coils it's outstanding for flavour. Can even run in TC mode with the Triton 0.4s.
I have one in my rotation at the moment on my beater Pico and it never lets me down or leaks.

Ordered a 5 pack of them triton 0.4s from http://www.smokepurer.com/aspire-triton-sub-ohm-coils-5-pack

Hope they were the ones you were on about. Also i didnt know they were stainless steel. Ive never had those before just kanthal. Whats SS ones like?

Can you vape the same as kanthal ones like use wattage mode on the pico.

How would i use TC mode with pico with these types of coils, again total newb with TC and dont wana mess about with it unless helped a lot on it as i might do somit stupid lol.

Hi guys. I did post in the other VL thread but it's long gone. Anyway, myself and my wife have both got the Kangertech Kboxmini. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kanger-Black-Subox-Mini-Starter/dp/B00ZS4YINI this one but I have the silver and the wife has the white. Anyway, we use the RBAs for both. I went to a local vape cafe and was shown how to build the RBA a few weeks ago and I enjoy using the RBA. I was given a 1m length of SS wire, no idea on what type or resistance etc. It was just a thin wire.

All being well I should take delivery of some PG, VG, Concentrate flavour and Nic base today so I can make my own juice. I forgot to order some wire with this lot but saying that I did not know what one or type to get.

The coils I have been making with the SS wire are wrapped 7 times round a mini screwdriver, a little bigger (thicker) than the bludriver I got with the Kangertech mods. I have been getting around 0.550-0.430 ohms on various coils over last few weeks. I vape at around 30w-40w depending on my mood and preference at the time.

I hope this helps you help me decide what wire to go for.:)

Morning all,

I've had an order arrive from Rejuiced. It tasts rank at the moment with a really harsh throat hit (same amount of nicotine), so I'm guessing it needs to be steeped for a week or so.

One of the bottles (Pink Lemonade) looks to have some oil floating in it, most of the bottle is a pink liquid, but there's some oil colored floating globs at the top. Is this something I should worry about?

I've tried shaking the bottle up but the oil floats to the top. It's the same kind of golden colour as olive oil.

Thanks.

That's quite worrying if you ask me. Personally I'd drop them an email and ask about it.

It's most probably the natural extracts in the concentrate, but if it was me I wouldn't vape it until I had clarification from Rejuiced themselves.

Last thing you want is to be vaping a juice that has oil in it.

Edit: Can you take a photo if possible, Atari?

Edit 2: Had a bit of a further look into this mate. I understand it's natural seperation from the concentrate. I highly doubt they're making a Pink Lemonade from scratch so it's most probably Flavour West's Pink Lemonade concentrate, which is known to seperate. Personally I stay WELL AWAY from anything FW have to offer. If you're happy vaping it, all you can do is basically give it a good shake before using it.

It looks rather strange to be honest, I've tried shaking it up a few times today but whatever it is, it floats in the liquid in balls, and eventually just makes its way back up to the top.

I'll get in touch with Rejuiced and see what they say, it definitely doesn't look right - I'd heard about the dangers of vaping liquids with oil in which sent alarm bells rinigng when I saw this particular bottle.

Here's a quick pic:

Yep, that definitely doesn't look right.

I understand that concentrate contains ethanol in the suspension, which is probably what's floating in there. That to me sounds like they either didn't shake the concentrate well enough before mixing, or it's a bad batch.

Either way, email them and see what they say.

Will do - thanks Gee.

I'm glad I asked, if I hadn't seen the warnings on vaping oil in liquids a page or two back, I probably would've just chucked it into my Cleito and vaped away on it :p

I thought it would be that. I've seen seperation before but nothing as extreme as what you showed us. Must be the Ethanol.

Did you show them the photo?

I did, I sent them a message over Facebook, and an email with the picture and their response was as below:

"The pink lemonade is made up of citrus flavours which tend to separate, it just needs a good shake"

Not sure if it's worth bothering with. What do you guys reckon? Bin it or Vape it?

I have had liquids seperate a bit after storage but a good shake would solve it. I would drop them one more note and ask for a replacement.

I tried some of Time bomb vapours TNT ice on the weekend and I love it, does anyone have a recipe? I want it for my ADV, from my understanding it is basically peach strawberry apple and menthal? Does anyone know the quantities? I am failing on google and what to trust.

To me that sounds like a auto response based on some of their flavs need a shake. I bet they didnt check the pic at all.

Edit - Found this on google images search, dunno if guy/gal has shook it but i cant see the stuff that you had in this pic.
