***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

The Reuleaux is a great mod but is too heavy for a carry-around for me. I've got 3 different versions, the RX200, the RX200S and the DNA200 version. I like them all but they stay at home on my desk.
VTC Minis and iStick Picos are my daily drivers.

I wouldn't go over 6mg with that tank. Even as a smoker looking to switch.

What are you actually looking for? Personally, I would start with a mouth-to-lung setup such as an eGo One from Joyetech. This will replicate the action and feel of smoking. Going straight for a big-clouds lung-hitter as a first step doesn't sit right with me.

Yeah hoping it will get me off the extortionate price of tobacco! Not had a proper cig today and feel fine. But yeah drinking lot's of water lol

Good man. Keep at it.
Lots of liquids and try not to have your vape on your desk or where you will continually toke on it. When I first started I would just sit there and chain-vape 18mg and it made me feel really rather unwell. Space it out and vape when you feel like a ciggy.

VT Inbox finally turned up. Lovely little thing it is. This is my first squonker so I stuck a simple 0.5 Ohm dual coil clapton build in there and let her rip at 60W. Lovely!

Build quality is good with the side panels fitting snugly with no rattle. THe squonk bottle slips in to place nicely and is a friction fit rather than a a screw-in type. It comes with a spare bottle too. The Maze RDA is OK but isn't going to win any awards for flavour. It's easy to build on with a Velocity-style deck though.

Are the Kayfun lite v2's worth anything anymore? I've got about 4 that haven't been used in Christ knows how long. Worth selling given the amount of clones of them are available??

TBH you're not going to get a lot for them. Maybe £20 each. Even that might be pushing it. The game has moved on significantly with top-fill and easily adjustable airflow. The KFL is a bit of a pain to work with compared to modern stuff.

Just another quick stupid question. When I refill my tank with liquid it kind of pops and splutters and some of the liquid jumps onto my lips and into my mouth (only a little bit). If I leave it to stand for a couple of hours it settles down just fine but I vape pretty much all the time at the moment. Is there a way to fill it up so it doesn't spit when you start vaping straight away? It isn't a major problem but it would be nice to find a solution :).

What tank?
It sounds like a bit of juice is being forced through in to the coils when you put the cap on. This causes the coils to be over-saturated which in turn causes the spitting.
The way I deal with this with top-fill tanks is to put the top on so it's just touching the o-ring seals (when you feel a little resistance). Then I turn the tank upside down so the juice isn't covering the coil area before screwing the top back on fully. This just forces air in to the coil rather than juice.

Depends on what you want really. If you don't mind a built-in battery and generally vape at low power (they fire up to 40W but will be drained very quickly at that power, at 15W they last all day) then you can't beat the Evic Basic. It's absolutely tiny but has all the same features and screen as the larger VTC Mini. Lovely little thing. I have two of them.
If you vape at higher power and don't mind something a little larger then the iStick Pico is your device. It's much bigger and I wouldn't really class it as a nano mod but it's still pretty small. Can only use 22mm tanks on it because of the protruding battery cap. Again, I have two of them and they are my main daily driver mods.

The Tarot Nano I don't rate. I bought one and liked it so bought a second one. Both dead after 4 months. Neither will charge any more.

Vape mail:

VT75 Nano. Lovely little thing. Same size as a VTC Mini but with a nice DNA75 board. Happy :)

Also got a Velocity V2 clone with the glass bell-top and BF pin. Looking forward to playing with it on the VT Inbox later.

Haha, you know, i never bothered even taking the USB cords out of the boxes when get new mods, but i do have a USB lead with a longer connector already, was just wondering if your VTI had the same issue as mine and Standard USB connectors?

Yes, mine is the same. It's a little annoying but doesn't detract really from what is an excellent mod. I just connected it to a PC once to copy across all my profiles and then that is probably the last time it will ever been connected.
