Do people use this without nicotine/tobacco then, just a flavour?

I use 12mg nic/ml and vape a variety of flavours with that. I smoked about 15-20 a day for 14 years, and haven't smoked for 2 years now :) Some people do phase out the nicotine and vape zero nic liquids though. The only reason I keep it in is because the nic content provides the majority of the throat hit, which is an important part of what makes a vape satisfying for me.

Does it have the usual genny issue of leaking out of the air hole? I'd be mighty tempted by one if it was as practical as a bog standard tank.

No. Although I've never had an issue with a Gennie leaking out of the airhole?

A very good purchase. Very easy to set up due to the isolated wick hole and the end of the wick can't short either as the base of the tank is plastic.

The best Gennie to date I have purchased.

Oh right, I'd read that if they are left lying down that the liquid can pool under the cap. Is that not the case? If so, I may have to give this a go! Until then I'll continue getting to grips with rewicking my novas, which has been fun. I tried to improvise a dual coil in parallel with two wicks and failed quite badly lol.

Jimlad i got mine from lastcig and they are pretty basic kits but cheap so if your umming and arring good way to find out. Just wish i could find a decent coffee flavour that was not sickly after a while tried about ten now and they all ranged from sickly to nearly zero taste of anything my hunt goes on lol.

You are right in that all the ones I've tried will leak if on their side.

Mine only leak slightly. Not enough to cause me alarm? The ones that leak badly must be because the wick they rolled was too thin, or they leave the filling cap off?

Depends I guess I think a wick is rolled to thick if it is tight. I always thought most people were careful about Genies on their side as I've read about it often enough. My Aga doesn't leak juice out but it leaks into the top cap.

Just picked up a

Provari Mini v2 Blue LED + Extension Cap + Sotong ring for Provari + Ebaron Pro + Kir Fanis Tip + A few spare ceramics. :D

The guy who I bought it from had a Hellfire mini plus a great mechanical PV. I should have taken a pic, but it was excellent. I defo want to buy that and then call it a day and just enjoy trying juices.

Well got that RSST up and running. Wow. It is giving a stonking vape. I've got 6 wraps of 0.20 Kanthal and it's coming up on the Vamo at 2.4 Ohms. The flavour and vapour is astonishing.

I've only really messed about with smaller Genesis atomisers such as the AGA-S and The MAGA from cloud 9 and this bigger one beats them.

Maybe it has something to do with the wick hole being 3mm?

The Aga T2 I have is ****. If anyone is trying out Genesis Style rebuildables then I recommend that they try the Smoktech RSST.

Has anyone had much experience with the Odessey by Totally Wicked?

Had mine for 5 days now and i'm pleased with it. Build quality is really great and the it does not leak or flood at all. My only complaint is the batteries do not last a great deal of time, although I am quite a heavy vaper. I'm currently looking at the Joyetech eVic battery. That thing is a beast!

Was that the one on UKVapers members sales?

Nice bit of kit btw, I have my first VV mod on the way from vapourbreak.com. A Vamo, for £21 posted it was a nobrainer for me.
Been wanting to try VV vaping for a while, though been so satisfied with my Orion, I couldn't justify it.
I then saw the Evic and the innergeek in me set on a mission.

If I had the money I would have gone for a Provari mini. Also had my eye on the Baron dripper, though again cash flow had me plump for the igo-l. Got that on the way to me from vapegear.co.uk. Cheapest I believe available with the free postage they offer.

Now I am seeking to use cotton/hemp/bamboo wick for the first time in the igo-l anyone here any experience? Sources for said wicking material?
I was one PM away from ordering the usual silica wick from Terry on UKV, though I reminded myself how I dont like the little bits that get everywhere and make me itch when you cut it. Which goes hand in hand with the safety fears of using silica wick.

Looking forward to trying new vape gear and learning more. Enjoy your new gear too majnu.

*Edit. Ah right it was the one on UKV, same forum name.

Got a Vivi Nova working perfectly touch wood feel so much better about all the gear I thought was gonna be wasted.

On a less positive note I wish the £50 I've spent on taxis and pints tonight I spent on a VV Battery and a decent stock of juice!

First time i've come across these.

Why are they so expensive?

Yes it was the same one. The chap was local so I picked it up. :) I've not tried those filling materials, in fact it's the first time I've heard of it.

- Branded Name
- Construction Quality
- Aesthetics
- Consistency of Vape
- Functionality
- Ease of Use
- Portability
- Desirability
- Resale Value

It maybe expensive, but for me the amount I'm saving not smoking I may as well. Plus this is turning more into a hobby for me, which is no more than gaming and hardware updates/purchases are for many enthusiasts who want the best.

Vaping is a voyage of discovery for me and I know what I'm like - I just want to try some of the best. Vaping is also trial and error as you experiment what works best for you and suits your lifestyle. But to be fair they all do the same thing, so a less expensive PV will work just as well. ;)

The setup I bought ticks all the boxes. But I already have my eye on something else already ;)

I just need to buy a Nitecore Intellicharge i4 V2 now and will start buying some ejuice as DIY mixing is a PITA. If like me you've just recently stopped smoking then I will advise this to everyone - "Don't mix your own ejuice straight away until after you've tried the off the shelf stuff first for a couple of months."

That's a nice haul there majnu! The nitecore charger is great. My first one died after a few charges, but I got it replaced quickly and all is well now (2yr warranty anyway).

Rizlaking, have you tried decadent vapours Cafe braziliano? So far my favourite coffee vape. Right now I'm vaping TW Columbia coffee, but it's definitely an acquired taste. No sweetness at all! Still not sure if I really like it or if I hate it :p

Gilbert, glad to hear you sorted your nova issues. New heads always taste a little bit plasticky, so maybe you just had to work through that?

I mix my own juice so they can be as strong as I like really. Some flavours are stronger than others, and some like to be left to steep for a few days until the flavour matures.

got some cinnamon+mint the other day - too strong a flavour!
back to ry4 for me.
virginia is also a nice subtle taste.

these are the only ones i've tried so far.
is there like a sample pack of various flavours? just a small amount of each?
