What i done was, my vaping kit dropped on a Wednesday, so i smoked at work during the day, then when i came home i vaped.
This way i got used to vaping before making the big step to give the smellys the kick for good.
Once Saturday came, i just started vaping full time and tbh i found it really easy, the easiest i have ever given up the fags.
Its been 12 days now and i dont miss the fags at all, with no cravings, withdrawl symptoms, nothing.
Also its nice to be able to sit inside a pub and just vape, instead of nipping outside every so often. :D

Good work!! What level of smoking habit did you have before starting to vape?

Evods are a fickle beast, i have 3 in the house, 2 are perfect and the other leaks no matter what i do, my only advice is check the rubber seal on the head isnt touching the wicks when you screw the top down, also make sure your batterys are giving full voltage, some Ego's dont supply enough for Evods so they tend to flood themselfs and dump it into the 510 and due to the design they get bad condensation which drops back to the 510 aswell. On my 2 that work i wipe the contacts out every night other than they are decent little backups for me.

Best bet now is the Kanger Pro Tank, very similar to the Evod, and will even take Evod heads aswell as the Kanger Pro Tank heads.

i need to step it up a bit guys and looking for whats the next way to progress from ego- t batteries etc, my clearomisers ( of which i have 4) all taste burnt even though ive cleaned the gunk off the wick and washed them out vigorously and dry burnt them etc.

Any links would be great also to the best prices, looking to spend no more than say £100? Could anyone spare a moment to help me im not sure whats best to go for? I have got tons of juice but im having to buy new clearomisers all the time which seems quite a waste of cash.

The vamo seems like a popular choice at the moment. You can get the body only for around £20 quid for which loads of members of the UKV forum have purchased. Thread HERE

Best batteries to go with the above HERE

And there are tons of different tanks to choose from. The Vivi nova seems a popular choice. I've just ordered a vamo starter kit myself (batteries and charger included), although the batteries and charger are more than likely pants, for an extra £6, i thought it was worth a punt. Cost around £27 all in with delivery.

thanks mate but is that an american website there?

No, it's in china and you pay with paypal. Any problems, just put a claim through paypal. Some people have reported delivery in less than a week, others have had to wait longer. If you're uncomfortable about buying from overseas, VapeEscape do the same on but double the price and only 3 months warranty.

crikey its cheap on there man ;) , ive ordered that vamo starter kit, 5 clearomisers, 2 mini nova atomizers, some extra wicks, with 33% discount and all for less than what just the vamo costs here on its own, i even paid for fast shipping and its still cheaper.

cheers for the heads up

Being a complete newb to all of this - what is the benefit of a variable wattage vape like the Vamo?

You can use a variation of resistance cartomisers/atomisers/clearos, and have manual control over the wattage being pushed through them. This means you can tweak away to find the "sweet spot", push up the voltage to gain insane levels of vapour output, or aim for flavour etc.

Very, very nice. :)

This is my Vamo V2 in stainless along with the Kanger Protank.

Love it!

I use the Keeppower 18650 3400mAh batteries which seem to be the best out at the moment and they fit great. I use a Xtar WP2 II to charge them up.

Atomiser and liquid to put in it. Those look like 18350 batteries in the kit, which means you'd be using it in mini mode unless you bought some larger 18650 batts, but it would be fine for a days use regardless.
