It will be 54mg / ml (or useless), 5.4g per 100ml (or 5.4% nicotine) The lethal dose for users is much higher than non users. While it can be absorbed from the skin you should be ok just washing it off. Keep it safely away from children just like you would any other dangerous thing.

The block at work is breaking the law most likely. You can only have greater than 7.5% (75mg/ml) nicotine if you hold the correct poisons license. If you are talking 100% pure nic which some people in China will supply, you can overdose just being in a room with it unsealed. You need a flume hood and to know what you are doing. It touches your skin in anyway and you are in real danger. I've talked with chemists that are vapers and mixers and they say just no. Does he really want to risk the delivery people? I'm guessing he ain't paying for dangerous chemical transport?

I doubt its what he said it was then. Its coming from Hangsen, I doubt they would send it to him if it was illegal to do so.

Am I right when I said that 20 drops of the DIY mix is fairly harmless? Or can it actually kill a man like in the guide suggests?

A lot of company's don't pay for dangerous goods delivery. A company I used to work for did it daily. It wasn't that dangerous really it was a spray glue but your still supposed to pay extra for it.

Been using Elites for a couple of months and found them really helpful in cutting down my smoking.

Now down to 3 real ciggies a day and 1 elite (I don't want to try the fancy non-cigarette looking ones yet) and have bought my last packet of real ciggies and will stop the real ciggies completely Monday.

So, now for the really stupid bit.


I thought I would give Skycigs a go and see if they were any better than Elites and have so bought a load to try.

They are terrible. I mean really terrible. No vapour, no taste, no anything.

Have to phone up Monday to return them, though I think I'll have to pay postage but it will be worth it as the Skycigs are useless.

Now you can all kick me for being an idiot.

6ml that would equate to. I would say that is quite high usage. What strength is your liquid?

I don't fill it to the top each time and I still have about half of a fill left at night. So im guessing about 4-4.5 ml?

I did smoke a good few roll ups a day and now I've got a broken ankle so im really board and can't move so i suppose I'm using more because of that

Edit. might be less I've got a few samples and a 30ml bottle I've used about 30 ml in 10 days ish

an average fag/rolly has around 0.9-1.3mg of nic.
so using an easy number of 1mg, there is equivalent to 18 fags to 1ml of juice
if you are chain vaping from boredom, try a lower nic base.

i go through an average of 3ml per day using 11mg mic base, so that is the same as 33 fags, but at least its healthier lol

thans will look into . I don't smoke but been doing shisha quite a bit when going out so thought id try the pen as local places the flavour isn't all that. at least if I can mix it myself I can have a go messing around with flavours

You do know that shisha or hubba bubble as they are known are more harmful than cigarettes?

That's roughly what I smoked so i think ill make a weaker mix next time

As far as we're aware, the nicotine absorption from vaping is much lower than that of a cigarette -- probably due to the lack of the plethora of additives designed to have it shooting through your bloodstream as quickly as possible.

I'll only start to feel a bit weird/heady if I puff too much of 30mg+ in a short time. Otherwise, I'm chaining it like a mofo when at home. At work it's usual "smoke break" 2 or 3 times a day.

The 1mg quoted for a fag is what your body absorbs, whereas the 18mg in 1ml of liquid is the actual content, so there is quite a gap.

3ml a day is about average, maybe on the high end of average. I go through 2-3ml a day myself. Some atties are thirstier than others too.

Everyone goes through different devices before finding one that suits them. I started off years ago with a terrible intellicig that was just abysmal. I would consider the better devices out there if I were you. They can be much cheaper in the long run and provide a much more satisfying experience. If you're happy with e lites then crack on, but there are much better things out there if you change your mind and want to upgrade.

I use the Keeppower 18650 3400mAh batteries which seem to be the best out at the moment and they fit great. I use a Xtar WP2 II to charge them up.

Recently picked up a pro tank myself - very impressed for the price.
A few questions ( and undoubtedly silly ones!)

Should you remove the rubber sleeve that is sat around the atomiser (near the wick) ?
Also whats the little chamfered cone shaped attachment for which comes in the box?
The place i bought it from (vapeescape) doesnt sell the replacement atomisers - anyone know a good place to purchase them from?

Keep the rubber sleeve on it works fine.

The cone shaped attachment is just a beauty ring for ego devices. Not needed for a vamo.

One thing you might want to do is take out one of the top wicks if its not vaping to good, I guess this depends on your juice. It's really easy to do and I must say I found it did improve the performance. Check out the video click me!

I'm still looking myself where to get the spare heads ideally in a pack of 5 as its normally a bit cheaper.

I will say that these Kangers with a glass tank are fragile as I broke mine tonight, my vamo slipped out my pocket and landed head first on concrete and snapped in two! Totally my fault though as I was only wearing tracksuit bottoms and everything seems to slide out the pockets of them. should have known better!

So I will be buying another one soon enough as I do really like the protank. I bought mine from UK Ecig Cabin but the replacement heads are out of stock at the moment.

You can buy pure nicotine and it is incredibly dangerous. I doubt Hangsen would supply it but the Chinese often just use trademarked names to sell their stuff. So you have to be pretty careful buying from them.

20 drops could maybe kill someone but you'd likely need to inject it to make it all hit at the same time. It isn't that dangerous at 54mg/ml but still worth being careful with like any poison. I've yet to hear of anyone even overdosing from skin contact (and we all get some on our hands now and then) let alone dying. I've heard it said that most people throw up if they swallow enough to OD too. I can't be sure. I am sure enough in my own mind that I can safely handle 54mg juice.

I spilled a whole tank of 12mg over my hands the other day, and I've regularly gotten it on myself while mixing. I just make sure to quickly wash it off and I've never felt like I received a big dose of Nic or anything. Just use common sense and wash your hands if you get it on you. Saying that, I even steer clear of the 75mg stuff tbh just because I don't want to get the maths wrong if I'm not thinking straight one day lol.

So i have a question...

I have the Vapeland Ego-T starter kit - http://www.vapeland.co.uk/ego-t-ce5-black-starter-kit-900mah-97-p.asp

When buggering about and cleaning the clearomiser, I managed to pull/destroy the wick.

So I bought a couple of these - http://www.leisureliquids.com/ce5head.html

Replaced the old one with that, but it doesn't seem to work..... The old head minus the wick gets hot and crackles like it should but the new ones don't.

It is just a case of unscrewing the old and screwing on the new one right?

I bought two new heads, one 2.4 (the same as the old ones) and one 1.8. Neither work.

Am i doing something wrong!? Or do you think the new heads are dead? Anything i could do to fix them if they are?
