I only just bought my first e-cig on Monday - what's the point of all these contraptions and devices I see on the last few pages ? (I know nothing about vaping it seems) !

I see it the same as the PC overclocking scene. You could say "I bought my first PC from a high-street shop last week, what is all this stuff about watercooling, overclocking and case mods?"

Same thing.

Vivi Novas from VapourBreak are not Vision brand, so the quality is hit & miss. The black kit I bought is not great, but the chrome sleeved Nova works well with a replaced head.

I'm now looking at upgrading as I think the Vamo + Nova is a good starting point in Mechanical Mods, but spending a little more could be much more rewarding.

I bought a Vivi Vision from a UK seller for about £11 delivered, the one i got from Vaperbrake, at £6 delivered, is definatally not a Vision like you said. But it all honestly i think 90% of it was better manufactured. I got a metal drip tip with the cheap one (plastic with the vision expensive version) and the threads are definatally better and cleaner. It also has a spring action on the bottom connection to the battery.

The attys on the vaperbreak model are the same as the Vision CE5, which is good because i have a few of them. The Vision Vivi's attys are slightly different to their CE5 model.

They go very well on the vamo, its a tad bit long in 650 mode to take into town, but for home/out and about its fine. Also with the Vivi i dont end up with a pocket smelling of strawberry liquid, there have been no leaks what so ever.

Good analogy.

Essentially, what many of us have are enthusiast devices that require a fair bit of fiddling and knowledge to get going, but that provide much better performance in terms of battery life/vapour production/throat hit/flavour.

If you ever feel like your existing kit isn't cutting it for you, or if you want to reduce your monthly outgoings by mixing your own liquids, rebuilding your atomisers etc, we can help :)

Ok thanks guys, will look into this. As it happens I'm on a brand called SkyCig, as "underclocked" e-cigs go are these decent?

The MHRA bill is a serious threat to vaping and the free access to the interesting flavours we all enjoy.
To restrict the sale of e-cigs which "might" be harmful (no evidence), when real cigs are still on sale is ludicrous.

As has been discussed in this thread already, the MHRA want to classify ALL nicotine containing products as medicines (oh, apart from real cigarettes) which must be licensed. This will mean that only big phara and the tobacco giants will be able to afford the licenses and will control the supply and distribution of e-cigs. This will put thousands of jobs at risk in the UK as well placing barriers in the way of smokers switching to much safer alternatives.

Thanks man, maybe we should have another thread just for pic's of peoples vaping gear,atomizers,stands,mods,etc. No discussion just vaping porn:D Have seen some wonderful and weird devices on other forums and would like to see what people here are using as this seems to be a very popular thread.
I feel Im becoming a vaping voyeur:rolleyes:
