@Hamster did yours arrive yet? and if so did u do any mixing yet?

Not yet. I think it takes about a week from the US so unless it gets stopped by customs, hopefully it will be here end of next week or just after. I've still not got around to order everything else I'll do during the week. Where did you get your VG, PG etc from? I was thinking of Classikool.

Classikool is the cheapest VG I've found. Their Ebay site works out cheaper than their site or Amazon store last time I bought from them. Free delivery is pretty slow but well free. PG you can get super cheap on ebay just make sure you pick the food / pharma grade stuff.

PG big bottles (1ltr) on ebay are cheap. VG get from boots chemists £1.20 for 250ml or so. I don't bother with PG I just mix it 70:30 or whatever it works out to be. Get flavours from lte, go for the Inawarawa (something like that ones) they're really good and strong, and for something special get the capella ones from http://www.leisureliquids.com/capella.html

Of course you always have liberty flights for perfumers apprentice also really good, flavourart and decadent vapours (although the last company was heavily involved in shutting down the old ukvapor website and dodgy practices so I don't use them anymore, although still good flavours)

Also if you like a flavourart liquid you can buy direct from Italy, a 250ml bottle is like 25-30 quid which would last for-ev-er.

I never really understood the full UKV shut down I thought it was TW thinking DV (and other members of their trade body?) was bad mouthing them on UKV. I went off TW because of the posts they made about vapers. TW then threaten legal action.

No, DV were involved too, I forget it all and don't really care either but they played a part.

snap, i got both pg/vg from classikool on ebay. allow about 3-5 days for delivery
I also discovered a good place for cheap flavourings, its called cupcake world
http://www.cupcake-world.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=144
£2.50 for 28.5ml is pretty good, and even the guy who runs the alchemists cupboard buys a lot of his flavouring off them lol.
Here is a massive mixing thread on AAEC, the guys name is frogster and there are loads of recipes and tips on it, but its over 80 pages long, but worth it imo.

not tried any mixes yet, been busy today, but going to give it a go tomorrow, going to do some 5ml samples first

I'm sure I never knew the full sorry. I know TW and DV fell out awhile before it. I think I'd guessed that their fight had caught UKV in the cross fire, looks like I was wrong. I only know about DV and TW falling out as I was a TW forum member at the time that happened. Doesn't really matter now, guess I'll keep buying DV flavours anyway. Feels a bit cheeky dropping TW over it and not DV.

Thanks for the suggestions :)

I think I checked Classikool website prices the other day and postage via their website was only £1 but the liquid was cheaper. Will check though but I'm sure it's just a few pence different.

ScoTTyBEEE as for the flavourings, if I find I get on the F'art stuff (which I probably will!) I'll order from Italy. Which website can I find those prices on?

Thanks :) I was planning on getting all my flavours from 28vapeslater as they seem to have most of the recommended brands but will look at CCW too. Sounds like good value. I have been getting a bit carried away with the list of flavours that I intend to buy so may look at thinning the list down a bit...a lot! :D

I've been looking the AAEC resources too. My favourite vaping forum :)

It was http://www.flavourart.it/ but it seems they don't do bulk anymore just 10ml, I bought 250ml of apple pie off them about a year ago but perhaps they will do bulk if you email them. If you look on ukvapers you can buy direct from inawara from Poland and it's REALLY cheap and their flavours are top banana, been using them a while.

Well you aren't going to buy 250ml of flavouring for your first time mixing unless maybe you have had their premixed before. It does cost a bit getting started because you buy small amounts of flavouring but once you start bulk buying flavouring it does get a lot cheaper.

Edit: classikool site is cheaper atm but you are right it is pence. The reason I don't buy from boots is they never have it in stock at my local one and they made a big deal of ordering it for me. I can't be bothered with that again. The pharmacist really didn't want to help me at all.

Have you tried any of the cupcake flavours j?

not yet scott, but that AAEC thread has loads of people using them, also the guy who runs the alchemists cupboard (frogster) uses them in certain recipes

Thanks. The 250ml is just something to keep in mind for the future. Good to know just in case I do like the F'art stuff that I get. I've heard good things about their RY4 and RY4 Nutzilla. Only going to get 10mls of the flavours on my list to start with then see what I like and where that takes me.

10ml of flavouring makes anywhere from 50ml to 100ml of juice so keep it small and try around, you don't always know what you like. For example I love the peach flavour, but never would have thought it.

Somebody settle an argument I heard in the pub tonight please.
Are e-Cigs the same as vaping?
My step mum also said last week that she and my Dad have started vaping and when I said "e-cigs" she said it was different.
?

Simple answer, yes. Using an e-cigarette is vaping. E-cigarettes are the commonly known term for a personal vaporizer. There's a coil in there that, using a battery powered device, heats up the e-liquid inside (made from propylene glycol and/or vegetable gycerin, flavouring and nicotine) and turns it into vapour which is inhaled. The devices most of us use here look nothing like a conventional cigarette though; just have a butchers at the last few pages of this thread and you'll see what I mean. The ones that look like cigarettes are normally known as cig-a-likes. It's all vaping though! :)

Most vapers don't really like the term e-cigarette as it contains a dirty word and would rather refer to it as vaping as it detaches the 'activity' further from a habit that they're proud of having given up. However, a lot of people know little about them and if they don't already know what's referred to as 'vaping', it can be easier to explain using the word e-cigarette.

I'm guessing your step mum may mean that her personal vaporiser isn't one that looks like a fag and lights up at the end to mimic one.

thinking i will go for the kanger Protank - http://www.ivapour.co.uk/kanger-protank.html

what battery do i need and do i need anything else?

Go for it! Kangers are nice.
You only need a standard Ego battery but I would recommend the twist for variable voltage. The 900 is out of stock on that site you are using but you can either get the bigger 1100 or wait or buy it from somewhere else.
IMO the 900 is the perfect size.
