Few days in, liking the evod, and the Vamo has brought my vision eternity back to life, so Im happy.
Yet to try the Kanger, will get around to it soon
 
Hi all

I've been smoking in one form or another for 20 years... Currently smoking cafe Creme cigars. I just ordered the below parts.... Have I got the right things I need ?

For a noob it's very hard to get a grasp on what you need

All looks good, the eGo are probably the best place to start, easy to use and are a good vape. 18mg is also a good strength to start with for a 20 year smoker
Seeing as you're currently smoking cafe Creme cigars.
Good choice, you have you have everything you need :)

I also i found it easier to give up the smokes, by easing yourself into vaping over a week. So i used to smoke at work during the day, then vape at night, then once the weekend came, stopped the smokes completely. But its upto you.
Good luck with it, i found it the easiest way i have ever tried to give up smoking.
 
Yeah the eGo is good. Still using one myself after a few months and have found nothing wrong with it to make me want to change. I did upgrade from an SD Keyring, though which whilst it worked, it was pretty rubbish.
 
If I knew what I do now when I was originally looking into this the only thing I'd really change would be to have gotten an Ego/Evod starter kit over a Ego/CE5.

But that is just personal preference as I dont really get on with the CE5's, but the Evod is great.


That said, i soon moved away from the Ego/CE5 and onto Evods, Protanks and Vamo's. Not got as far as the Genesis stuff yet though.... :)
 
I've had really expensive stuff and the ss vamo I have is what I used, sold the rest. It's nicely mate stuff but at the end of the day the actual devices are simple as anything.

Don't get caught up in bling theory like everyone else, it's not worth it. Get a stainless steel DCA from some guy in Greece on ukvapers, 306 atomisers are cheap as chips and last a month, taste the best and it's the best combo. Get some tanks for driving if you don't fancy dripping and driving (lol, I can imagine a govt. campaign about that in the future)

I've been smoking a SkyCig since Monday last week and haven't touched a normal cig since, this is despite having a drink at the weekend with friends over and normal cigs in abundance. So that feels really great.

However, having been smoking the e-cig for a few days I am getting to the point where I feel like I'm not getting enough of a hit etc.

As I'm starting out with this what would you advise as as good starter base for getting onto something with a bit more clout?
 
I was on 40 ish lambert and butler a day, then tried a 10 motive ecig which was great but not hitting the mark as I was still smoking between 3 and 7 cigs a day. So decided to try some different ones vapourlites, v2,green smoke and none were doin the trick and it was costing a small fortune (£400) for starter kits and my cigarette smoking was beginning to ramp back up until I found this company http://jacvapour.com/ In a last chance effort I ordered one of their V3 cigarette style starter kits and once it arrived I charged it up put on a virgin tobacco cartomiser and wow I knew there and then this was for me, that was a month ago and not 1 cigarette since then.

They sell cigarette looking ones or ego type ones.
The black v3 are cool and they have a rubberised coating on them, also in white and even stainless steel and you can change the led colour.
I started with V3 auto batteries but have now tried manual batteries and I think these are a better bet as you get more throat hit and more vapour.
 
well the ce5 / ego 900 ecigs arrived, and had a few problems

very little vapour produced... but after a few hours found out I was blocking the air holes in ce5 with my fingers doh.

one thing I would say, using it for a min or so get very light headed. using 18mg juice.

I was smoking 20 mini cigars a day, and draw very hard usually (im a very fast smoker on analogs)

Do you guys inhale hard or gentle, and whats the technique with the start button ?

Try going down to 8mg or there about. I press the button then draw slowly for a few seconds and inhale.
I'm down from 24mg to 18mg and soon I will go down to 8mg then 0mg juice
On a side note the Elips one I want that cost £44 inc (in the UK) is only £15 in china Grrrrrrr but you have to buy 10.
