Lost my TW twist , loved that shape over the lavatube type so after a bit of searching ended up with this Apollo VV 3-6v 1200mah passthrough.
At 4v with a 1.8ohm coil in the evod this is superb.
Just got to cut down from 36mg now , anyone know a good throat hitter thats around 24mg , came off 200 capstans a week so need a bit of a kick .

That's quite cool. As far as throat hit, I'm finally happy with my RSST, and occasionally even dip below my usual 10W. Being able to wrap your own coils on an atomiser can make all the difference in adjusting the experience to suit you. RSST might look a bit silly on that battery though.

Some help and advice please dudes, I'm looking at the below combination as a starter kit but I don't mind paying a little bit more if it's a better quality kit.

http://www.ecigwizard.com/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/starter-bundle/standardbundle.html

With this tank

http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/Vaping-Spares/Tanks--Accessories/Vision-Vivi-Nova-V2.5-Kit.html

And then obviously buying a couple of e-liquids, I'm thinking a tobacco and a flavour of some sort to try, I'm new to all this obviously so if anyone has any suggestions feel free to point me in the right direction.

I would like something that would last most of the day but with a bigger enough tank to last all day as well, with a bit of a throat kick, not camel filter less but like a cigarette effect.

Thanks in advance :)

+1 for the protanks, great bit of kit. Even better on a VV device. :)

Even better if you remove the top wick, see this vid.

Gimp: Not a bad way to start, though maybe go for something like this - http://www.vapeland.co.uk/e-cig-starter-kits-10-c.asp ? Just a bit more for the money, and it's nice to have more than one battery. ;)

I'm sure others will have some ideas too. Thats where i started, Though Vamo and Protank is my regular thing at the mo.

I'm on 3rd week and started with the first kit you linked to.... Have moved onto a ego twist 1000 battery and kanger protank.... Literally 10 times better. The ce5 clearomiser in that kit are ok, but very hit and miss and end in frustration. The kanger protank has tons of capacity and every hit is full of vapour, no dry hits.

So far bottom coil tanks are my preference... Bought through vape escape, and came next day

Still currently on ecigwizards wizard leaf 24mg, which is tobacco with a slight hint of burnt caramel... Which so far prefer to all the sweet juices

Which kit there dude? Do you have a link to the vamo and pro tank as well please?

Nice one! Can I also have some links to the ego twist and kanger tank please?

24mg seems loads, fags are only 0.7mg nicotine aren't they? Or do I have that all completely wrong?

In 1000ma

Also got some spare heads 2.5 ohm

I was smoking 20 cafe Creme cigars a day.... The 24mg stopped all cravings, and as long as you don't over do it all ok. I had too much last weekend and felt sick and dizzy, but you have to be careful as the hit is slower than smoking so you have to wait a few mins for the nicotine to get into your system.

For the wizards leaf I set the ego to 4v, 4.8 burns it.... Is nice to be able to adjust depending on juice though

If you search the net for discount codes you can get 5% off also with voucher code

Any of the £26.99 ones really, pick a colour. :)
As said though, and i nearly edited my post to say this...

For me the Evod kits would be a better starting point than a CE5. I just prefer them, they are also bottom coil. Just not big enough imo.

Bit more expensive too - http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/Deluxe-Vaping-Kits/EVOD-650/EVOD-650-Kit.html

...and yep use either UKV or ECR69 discount codes if ordering from Vape Escape. :)

A list of codes - http://www.e-cig-reviews.com/discount codes.html

As for the Vamo, you can get them from a few places, but remember if you go that route you will need batteries and a charger, which would obviously add to the cost. :)

Cheap Vamo here, but longer delivery times. - http://www.vaporbreak.com/en/vv650-vamo-vv-mod/171-vv650-vamo-v2-body-only-cheapest-ego-apv.html

(they do a kit, but apparently the batt and charger are crap)

UK Seller - http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/MODS--Advanced/Ego-VV/VW-VAMO/

Thats the batts and chager would also need.

0.7-1mg is the amount of nicotine that is in the smoke, there is more that is damaged or still in the ash. We don't even know how much of that is absorbed. We don't know how much is in vapour (last I checked) or how much is absorbed. We do know that most new vapers need 18-24mg per ml juice. Also remember that 1 ml isn't a fags worth. 2-3 mls is about about average usage a day. The nicotine is fags is chemical a bit different too when burnt and has other chemicals that make it 'hit' you faster.

I just got some butterscotch fluid from ecigarettedepot. MY GOD! I've just vaped about 5ml of it this evening. It's absolutely delicious.

That sounds good. I've always found butterscotch flavours a bit sickly, so if you've found one that you can vape all night then I may need to give it a go!

Thanks for the advice guys, really appreciate it.

I'm looking at this combo now, will probably order tonight.

Do you think I'm good to go? I really do like that look of those more expensive Apollo's but this one seems to be just as adjustable and I would rather not lash out 65 quid if I don't take to it.

Don't make the same mistake I did with my protank. Check your heads when you get it. They don't specify the ohm resistance when you order so i opened one of the heads when it arrived and it was 2.4. I put it back and gave the tank a good wash out. I grabbed one of the heads and loaded it all up with some new blackcurrant and ramped it up to about 4.6. I played about with it for a while and came to the conclusion that my new liquid was disgusting and tipped a tanks worth away and washed it all out. When I checked the head it was 1.8 :/ Turns out they sent two resistances. Vapes really nicely at anything up to about 4.0. Can vary with different liquids though.

TLDR?

Check your heads and apply voltage accordingly as if your voltage is too high it will burn and taste like crap.

Nice one, thanks for that, I was reading about the different heads which I assume they have to send a selection of so you can decide which is suitable.

I assume that one you know what kind of resistance you like you can buy the heads in 5 packs?

I ordered last night so thanks for all the help peeps up there ^^ :)
