Well ive been told by the missus that since shes buying me this kit, then i have no choice but to give up the cigs and start vaping especially if its a more 'healthier' way of smoking ie no crap going into my lungs and also the fact that my clothes and fingers dont stink of cigs :/
Fingers crossed this works for me otherwise ill be out on the streets and another divorce waiting to happen

For me the easiest way to move to the e-cigs was to smoke during the day, then vape at night time to get used to it, then when the weekend came, i stopped the smellys completely.
Are they that much better? I've been looking at an eVic and that seems to have more features.

I have an Evic, they can be founf for £55-£70 so dont pay the high prices i have seen on some sites.

I like my Evic and also like the screen info etc... but it does have some drawbacks.
Pros
Variable Voltage and Variable Wattage
Screen Info
You can set up custom profiles for different tanks/atomizers (eg. u can set it up to vape at 10w for 1 sec and then drop to 8w for rest of draw)
If you are into facts, the MVR on the PC lets u see all the info u want, how many puffs, what wattages, update firmware, etc....
Battery level indicator and charge up from a pc or plug without removing the battery.
Cons
Can be 'fussy' with some tanks if there is not a good connection.
The tubes are a bit flimsy, looks like most advanced Evic users tend to buy custom SS tubes like from Kir Fanis, Gr Modders etc... going rate £40-£50.
Has been known for the head to decapitate itself it knocked hard
There are lots of reviews out there, so do your homework first
