Oops, thanks. I missed your reply :) I was thinking of getting some sent over just to try it out I may have a rethink now, thanks. It will work out 10 times the price of ekowool so I'll have to have a think about it!

I kind of know how you feel about falling behind, especially when you look at the kind of progress that someone like our beloved Allnamestaken has made in such a short space of time :) We're lucky to have so many different mods, atomisers and juices to choose from to discover what works for us and keeps us from smoking. This is what I love about vaping; it makes us such a diverse, yet close knit crowd.
 
So i haven't bee no the forums for a day or so and miss so much! lol.

Yas shame about the KFL, I know what you mean though, it can be a PIA... Great when it works though.... I still use my KPT's, just so easy, fill and go, tastes pretty good too. :)

Same here, I've got one here i got from Fasttech, tried it, couldn't get on with it, got a KFL. Never touched the RSST again.

If anyone wants an RSST let me know. Only downside is I managed to lose one of the fill hole plugs, lucky you get a spare in the box along with some O rings and stuff.. :)

Dont know if you have noticed :p

But us guys :p who have ordered quality gear tend to have less problems xD.

I would suggest buying a GUS to anyone looking to buy a long term mod that is not extremely expencive.

Whoever asked about the Russian 91%. I find it better as the KFL has a harder draw, the adjustable airhole is good on the 91%. Adjustable pole helps with troublesome VW devices where the top cap centre pin cannot be adjusted.

I found the KFL quite forgiving when building coils, its the wick placement that can be a pain. Use too much wick or have the wicks touching the bottom will lead to dry hits and burnt taste.

The wick needs to sit just above the deck.

I have my wicks above the red line

Dunno. maybe it is just the cheap batteries I have been ordering. The last one threaded as I had it in my pocket with Protank attached (without sleeve) and it bent. I have kind of made a fix by putting a little coil of paper round the screw part on the tank and it sits in tight, though it is harder to vape as there is less air getting in.

The realy joke is that I do not vape daily, just mainly on the weekends and sometiems in the week if I have an alcoholic beverage.

Sadly i didnt take any pics as i was too raging at the KFL but it hasnt been too badly damaged, its a tough little bugger, the plastic tank obviously cracked and the drip tip is lost so have ordered a new one and the tank is still in pretty good knick ie just has a few dents and scratches on it so a friend of mine is currently giving it a polish up and trying to get the dents out.

The KFL i think still wants me to try and get it right lol, maybe thats why it wasnt as badly damaged as i originally thought it would be

Smoke thanks for that pic, explains a lot as to why i was getting a burnt taste as i was told the wicks need to sit on the bottom of the deck. At least with the pics, i can see that you can have them just barely touching the deck....think thats where i was going wrong as i was pushing the wicks down onto the deck.

if ordering a new poly carb tank you may as well get the 3.1 too

I have one of those tanks, and tbh i find it makes the KFL look cheap, but thats just my opinion, i think it looks much better with the top and bottom of tank in metal

It seems to be a bit pot luck with Fasttech at the moment. I ordered an MVP v2 yesterday and it was packaged and shipped within a few hours.
