I've just bitten the bullet and brought the egrip. Hopefully it be my first and last mod as I am planning to quit, but plan to keep even when I'm not vappin' for them special occasions and treats.

Is the Vamo reading the atty? ie. hold down the + iirc and see if it gives an ohm reading?
Maybe the 510 connector is too short?
Check the Nautilus 510 pin is sitting just proud of the threads and not recessed.
 
Just picked up The Russian Rebuildable Atomiser by KEBO which is basically a kayfun 3.1 but made by different people. Reduced from £80 to £65 so Ive flogged 2 of my cheaper clones

edit- just found out that although its not an official kayfun its designed by SvoeMesto. Cant wait for this bad boy to turn up as Ive only had clones so far

Technically every clone has been designed by Svoemesto ;-)
It does seem expensive for a clone or non official Svoemesto kayfun, I have seen genuine 3.1s on the forums for £70ish
 
How to hell do people vape at anything more than 25W - bought the IPV2, coiled a .8Ohm on my TOBH and thought ok start low,

Did 10W, 15, 17.5, 20, 22.5, 25 - nice enough. Thought to myself lets try 50W.

Cue much coughing, much heat and lip burn, much badness going into lungs.

And people are buying 100W-150W devices.

How the hell do they cope!

Need a lower resistance coil mate. 0.8 Ohms at 20w is only 4v. At 50w its over 6v. A 0.2 Ohm coil at 100w is 'only' about 4.5v. :)

Now the new craze seems to be 8.4v boxes with huge coils. I dont get it tbh. :)


All that said, I'm the same its too hot for me, .5 Ohms is plenty low enough for my liking. :)


I got an Orchid v4 from FT yesterday, going to build that this evening - after its been cleansed of machine oil, its bloody covered in the stuff! Got a Plume Veil too as TommyV keeps rating them...! :D

Svoemesto and the russian guy started kayfun but split so svoemesto kept kayfun name and the russian guy got the design but not the name. Technically yes,but the amount of £30 clones ive had lately that have been hot street garbage rubbbishes that theory. The russians actually introduced the airflow to the lite before kayfun did and Ive heard nothing but good about them. Plus its waiting for one to show up if Im buying second hand and then hoping its been treat well

Yeah it picks up an ohm reading but displays 'Low Load' apparently a few cheap rubber grommets should work

Decided to a order a PV dripper today and a Ohm Checker from China.

The TOBH is great but it erks me that it doesn't sit flush on the ipv2. Think that is the reason the atty shows 0.8 most of the time and then bang 6.6ohm, then 5.2, then 2.4 then finally going back to normal. Something isn't right hence the ohm checker.

6-14 days as I paid an extra 0.25 for Air China delivery. So I'm expecting it some time around NYE.

Samsung 25R batteries are your best bet.

Some say they are better than the Sony's if not just as good.

Better, it has a lovely mellow taste of doughnut, then a strawberrys jam/sweetness type after taste. I was on Digby's mum ;) before that and in compairson the kings ring is like Moet V White Lightening.

I only have the 2mg nic so might be different for all the other flavours but its is very moreish, easy to vape.

The ohm checker will tell you 0.8, i think maybe clean the connections, make sure everything is a neat, properly screwed down etc, i think after i did all this has not happened for 2 days.

Though i wish it had both voltage and wattage mode, i'm shopping for another box mod, mainly because i want two anyway.. but not quite so easy to pick tbh...
