I like to ideas behind the KF4 but the tank took horrible, it's not the same diameter all the way up, it kind of bubbles out like love handles.

Either way they need to get ontop on the leaking issue.

Leaking issue with the 3 or has there been reports of the 4 leaking?

Just got my first try at 28g kanthal today in my kayfun, I only had 30g before because its what I used for my old protank 2 mini, results so far though, hmm the 28g im having to use more watts to get the same results as before, but it seems more robust and like the coil will last longer, 1.8ohms is what I vape at, the 28g kanthal was a lot easier to make coils with though! but with 28g im getting a lot more snap crackle and pop from my liquid, so I guess that cant be bad eh, its vaping good rather than some times frying the liquid like the old 30g kanthal I used, the 28g feels more consistant :)

tbh I tho I dno what I was expecting going from 30g to 28g which most people use, I guess I was expecting rainbows to come out of my mouth haha, at the end of the day a coils a coil eh, but I guess this 28g is working better than 30g and the way my kayfun was vaping on 30g was excellent, so this 28g is superb. :)

Also, just read posts above, I make my coils at a diagonal angle over the air hole like this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7o7RFoTtw0

it vapes beautifully and I use 80pg/20vg cheap eliquid that costs £1 per 10ml :p but its my favourite and I vape on a budget haha

I tried making a coil going straight across air hole but it flooded more but ya know everyones coils works differently no two are the same!

Are you coiling your kanthal around a 2.0mm ish dia screwdriver/drillbit?

Cheers all
Its a 2.4mm driver, this:

:)

KFL, not sure on the 3, but the lite is hella bad for leaking.

Mine very rarely leaks, sometime after I've re coiled it and got a bit happy with dripping on the wick before i fill it.

Think the hight of the coil has something to do with it, I forget which way round it is, too high makes it leak maybe? Either way, mine is only a mm or two off the deck. :)

Yeah, you do have to take a little care not to flood a KFL.
Btw, I posted in here a while ago about having a bitch of time filling it without it leaking, but it's sorted now.
Basically did what was advised and all you need to do is hold it upside down with your finger over the airhole and fill from the bottom port. Job done.

Anyway, just got back from the local vape shop. Figured what the hell and went to see what juices they had to offer and ended up having a good long convo with the guy and trying about 10 different flavours. Damn, those little vape pen stick things are terrible :p At least the ones they had were.

Ended getting a 3 for 2 deal on cherry, coconut and blueberry which is just as well considering they wanted £8 for 10ml
I didn't mind though because it was a nice not to buy blind and good to have a relaxed chat with no sales pressure etc.

I also took the Sig with a fresh wick in the dripper and clouded the crap out of the place :D Cherry and coconut mixed is pretty sweet btw.

Anyone have a recommendation for a tank atty that doesn't have as tight a draw as a KFL? This dripper is really spoiling me and is in danger of becoming my all day thing. If this carries on, I'll have to start making my own juice :D

I do have an Orchid v4 clone on the way from FT fwiw, but there's always room for more in the collection.

The Squape Reloaded has good airflow but clones are hit and miss and authentics are pricey. The Eleaf Lemo might be worth a look, have not tried one myself but it is an affordable authentic that is meant to preform very well.

Or you could check out the Big Dripper also, it an RDA with a push operated tank above the deck, great airflow, awesome flavour but a bit of a pain to fill to its full capacity.

The Atlantis is not bad at all, It works a treat now I sorted out the contacts on my mech.

Please share the link :p

I can't be sure what is and what isn't allowed to be linked on here Tommy but if you search for 'Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner Battery Operated' by LIME SHOP on the River site you will see it for £6.95 Delivered.

Not expecting miracles from it but it is only £7 plus the price of a battery.

Hey guys

Kayfun Lite Plus coiled and juiced up with monkey jizz, really really pleased with it, no leaks at all with cotton.

Just need to wick & fill the Orchid V4 this afternoon I will let you know my thoughts on it.

Cheers all

Looks like the Big Dripper is definitely gonna get got.
Pretty decent reviews for some of the FT clones and cheap as chips too + it comes in black.
Great for not having to drip convenience with an all day juice, which leaves the MX for flavour experimentation (currently having fun mix dripping flavours).
Not gonna solve the juice consumption though. Oh well, that's where the Lemo comes in, which looks like it's gonna replace the KFL for me :D

Ta very much :)

Btw, it did turn out that one of the screws on the MX needed another quarter turn. That coil wasn't an 0.8, it was an 0.3 lol and it hasn't skipped about since :D

Thanks :)

That does look really nice and performs well by all accounts, though I'd rather have a proper rebuildable and not have to keep buying coils tbh.

The Big D really did surprise me I must admit, full on dripper experience with the tank for convenience, such a simple concept but works very well. ;)

If you do get the Lemo please let us know what you think, I am an RDA fanboy at heart but the Lemo does look good and has me intrigued.

Glad to hear you got the MX sorted, I bet she is performing like a beast now! :D

Yeah, she's chuckin' alright.

I've also got the MX V2 clone on the way just for the top cap with the angled vent blocker things and the wide drip tip + adaptor. Gonna be interesting.
