I think there are loads of 'ehh why would you do that' moments throughout the series.
I think the show has been on a steady decline since the first few episodes of season one the end and start of each season tends to perk up but it's often a filled with far too much 'meh' inbetween.
Why the hell did those ladies lay on him and and even give him the breath of life knowing full well he could turn into a zombie as soon as he died, they also chained one hand but i didn't see the other?.
There are a number of stupid errors appearing in this series
This annoyed the hell out of me, breath of life on a dead dude, no, just no ******* way would you to that, even less so when you're pregnant... christ!
They handcuffed the wrong hand, should have been the furthest post, he'd then have no moving space, had he turned, he could have gotten up and pulled forward, rookie errors.
Blood EVERYWHERE! they still haven't defined how infection is triggered, if you get scratched you're done for, however take a face full of blood straight into your eyes and mouth won't do **** all.. Annoying
Comic scenario's that have been ruined:
No Tyrese, so no locked in gym scene or michonne love story.
No crazy bookworm inmate, so no Andrea mutilation. how does she get her scar?
I understand the need to congest the story, they could spend 3 seasons in the prison quite easily if they followed the comic book, but there was perfectly easy ways to congest it, without ruining some brilliant moments.
just don't quite understand why they are diverting so much, Season 1 was spot on, bar the CDC crap, and should have had the Shane resolution at the end instead. Season 2 was mind numbingly boring due to the farm just not having anywhere near a long enough story arc to pull an entire season off.
it's frustrating to see what could have been, it's by no means a terrible show, but it's not great TV and certainly doesn't deserve the praise it gets from some people considering the source material it is based on.
At the end of the day they will never follow the comics to the exact word because they and others have said that they want to keep the show refreshing and not have it being predictable, the same has happened for every other tv show based on comics and will continue to do so.
I haven't read the comics, but if I did, I would still want them to change things around, this is what I love about tv shows like this, they keep you guessing and thinking as to what will happen rather than knowing how everything ends up before the next episode is even shown.
I loved how things went with Shane in season 2, his last few episodes were brilliant.
Regarding the CPR, they probably thought he would be fine as he didn't have a fever (although the groups reaction would say different) , if you're infected/turning you have a very high fever. Although I agree, it was stupid to risk it anyway.
As I said before, there are plot holes and the stuff they do is stupid, however, I could go and pick out all the plot holes and stupid stuff with pretty much every other tv show, film etc.
Regarding the blood in the eyes and infection etc. If the blood infected them, then they would all be dead
as the blood could enter through their skin pores. Again this could apply to every single zombie film.
The show is meant to entertain and it does the job perfectly well imo, there is no other tv show like it.
Man when those prisoners just charged to the zombies and laid down some smack I just burst out laughing.
It's completely what you'd expect random prison thugs to do, haha
The leader guy was pretty brutal when he mashed the black fellows head in.
It looks like they have a ton of food though. Didn't see any water, and water isn't the sort of thing you store, since I'd imagine a prison would have plumbing. So wonder where they are getting water, clean at that, from.
I hope it doesn't turn into Farm V2 now they have somewhere 'safe' and plenty of food.

Thanks again to Nexus for the all important heads up on the next episode
I thoroughly enjoyed the last episode too - everything from the prisoners attacking the zombies as they normally would attack people in a street fight and the looks of "WTF" they got
Also, who do you think was watching Rick and Lori from the bushes when they were chatting on the bridge inside the prison?

Whoever it was, wasn't looking at them but at Carol when she was going down on the woman zombie ¬_¬ (emmmmm....oh....errrrrr......... )
Quite a few people have said it might be Ed (Carol's ex husband/boyfriend) but I very much doubt that as iirc did he not get killed by the zombie in his tent and either way I can't see him surviving that long Plus iirc, it has been confirmed that he isn't that guy.
I think it may be someone from the Governor's group or some rogue group that try to break in as remember from this trailer:
Zombies over run the outside of the prison and Rick says something like "how the hell can this be happening".....hmm, what if it is Merle who opens the fence/makes a big hole in it in order to get his revenge?
You've got to remember that they were previous criminals and from their mannerisms it was going to be one or the other.
It was pretty funny when the 3 originals stood back and just sort of laughed at the new prison lot going mental on the zombies the first time they came across them.
