US: **The Walking Dead Season 9 - Contains Spoilers - No future content to be discussed **

I hope Rick dying is not a hoax so mugs like me watch the entire season waiting for it rather than just switching off now. All I seem to find myself doing these days is complaining about stuff while watching like why are so many of them wearing that comical body armour.

Ep2 was much better. I like the tension between the saviours, Walker/timber scene was ok.

Wonder what happened to the drunk saviour at the end.

Yea, good improvement over the first episode.

2nd ep was better than the first. the heli is probably the one from fear of the walking dead as there has been cross over plot. just die rick :p

obviously if he does its going to be some saving everyone or one on one with negan who is obviously going to escape at some point.:D . maybe the heli will be involved in the final destruction of rick. its slowly been shown in small snippets and obviously going to play a part in something big.

Another thing that people may not have noticed, but it bugged the hell out of me. When they showed the capitol building it was quite clearly the Georgia Capitol in Atlanta, but then they showed them walking away along the National Mall which is quite obviously in Washington DC.

Well I never thought I'd say this... but I'm out. The first episode was terrible. I've sat through enough filler in last few seasons. Good luck to all who stick with it but can't do it anymore.

Best bit was Daryl's synchronized double knife kill, bad-ass. I'm guessing the 'missing' saviors are some band of Negan loyalists going to bust him out and cause some chaos? Probably resulting in poor Ricks downfall. Pure guesswork on my part, not a comic person or one for reading spoilers or anything. I just like to guess.

Decent episode, you know some **** is about to go down as expected. Just wonder what that helicopter is all about.

Also what happened to the new group at the end of last season?

It's starting to get frustrating to watch. Just going in circles. Them trying to survive -> Along comes bad guy/people to stir things up -> Find a way to beat bad guy/people -> Beat bad guy/people with the loss of some characters along the way, then back square one.

At this rate Rickamortis will die of natural causes.

At this rate I think we all will by the time the show finally ends.

What do you expect in a post-apocalyptic horror based on Zombies? There's not really much to do apart from survive > bad guys > survive...

Some of the best episodes were Season 1 when they reach the CDC, gave a look into the infection from a scientific perspective. Shame they didn't expand into this more as the show progressed.

I think most people expect some kind of conclusion to it all, obviously we'll get that eventually if the show doesn't get panned but they've dragged the same crap out for far too long now.

It's obvious Negan isn't staying in that cell either, probably him who kills Rick after that final scene in the last episode.

How about some info about how it all started? Info about who else is out there? How about they tell us what the helicopters actually mean rather than tease us for like 3 seasons or whatever. For all we know there could be other places in the world that are untouched. We know virtually nothing.

Fear The Walking Dead seems to have more answers than this...

it isn't it isn't progressing at all it is literally just the same scenario script for the past 4 seasons and tonights episode was no exception. though i will admit i was dozing on and off in parts

For me the problem with it now is simple, too much people drama and relationship rubbish, not enough zombies and when there are they just swat them like flies, too little survival aspect, abundance of supplies except when it's a main storyline, not enough exploring/travelling, too big a group with people the viewers have no connection to.

I'm not sure if the budget has been drastically cut or the producers have just gotten lazy but what made the show great is now severely lacking, they're so comfortable now that they have a base camp in the middle of a forest. Ever since they've started hiding behind secure walls or hiding in plain sight with no zombies anywhere to be seen the show has lost its edge.
