The Walking Dead thread

Just finished episode 1 and really enjoyed it. I was pleasantly suprised with the amount of atmosphere and immersion they've managed to create with this style of game. My only gripe with it is it's too short:p Just like the TV show - teaser trailer at the end for the next episode but you gotta wait ages for it..:mad: Just read that it is likely to be one episode per month :(
 
Is it worth doing again so soon? Many differences? No doubt I will at some point before the next episode, but my cursor is hovering right now :p
 
Not a lot of differences, it inserts a new line of convo here and there, and thats about it so far.

The game seems pretty good, but the audio quality of the voices is awful, it's like it's using mp3 audio with the worst bitrate or something, shame!
 
Just completed the first ep and will have to retract my original comment which upset that Cher fan about it looking "kinda gay". Well What a good game that was, I guess you cant save them all which is a shame. looking forward to the next ep :)
 
Just played the demo on the PS3 and i loved it. However i can't find any comparison to the pc version anywhere. Does anyone know if its a straight port or if it has better textures or graphics (graphics options).
Not sure which platform to purchase it on

I finished ep1 and I must say I was completely wrong about it, I thought it was going to be a dull qte game but I enjoyed every second of it. I like the way they managed to have a tense fear to what is basically a point and click game. I liked the way they did the conversation system I thought it was much better then mass effects system as you only have a short time to respond which keeps the pacing of the story high. I often felt in mass effect the conversations took you out of the story a bit.

I really looking forward to the next episode and so far I'm liking the story more then season 2 of the show :p
 
TotalBiscuit has done a 'WTF is' of this, looks good.. I'll be giving it a shot.

Probably wait until they are all released though, don't fancy waiting 1 month between episodes.
