The Weekend Football Thread *spoilers*

Not sure if its quite his position but Vela did well out on the left, if he keeps it up it will make things interesting when Clichy returns. Diaby and Ramsey have improved in the last few games give or take few between them. We will without doubt miss Song while he is gone.

Stoke is gonna be a tough one, they are quite good defensively and will probably be hard to break down like West Ham were.

Edit - In fact I think we should make it harder for them and buy Shawcross in the transfer window. :p

gahh we played fairly bad against York and are now rewarded with arsenal at home.

None of us realy care about the FA cup but maybe putting out arsenal will make up for all the crying and moaning ******** winger did after we beat arsenal last year.

Think it might be on a sunday as Port Vale play at home on the 23rd, should be a good game!

Bit gutted to get Spurs away.

Leeds looked good today, they were clearly very fired up for the big stage against their rivals.

Reckon we'll get beat there,

As would most.

I wanted a proper big side.

A proper big side? You can count your chickens you get another pay day against a bigger side than yourself in all honesty. ;)

Didn't mean any offence but I wanted a match no-one would expect us to win.

Man U was as big as you could expect I'd think. Although I guess Chelsea always takes these cups a lot more seriously (I.E. more first team players).

I wouldn't mind going out of the cups if it meant we could focus on keeping our head in and around 4th place. Despite me saying that 7th would be better than expected before the season begun. :p
