The Witcher 2 - Thread

Well it took several years, but finally completed it.
Last 2 chapters were a lot more fun and engaging then the 1st, which is where I always stopped playing. Think I restarted the game at least 4 times.

Good ending though, 1/2 tempted to play it again and play on the other side. But I've got Dragonage and Fallout New Vegas still waiting to be played.

It's worth playing through both paths as they play out very differently

Just got it for just over £3 from Kinguin got the enhanced version was a bit skeptical at first as I've never used Kinguin before.

Finding it hard to get used to K/M though but ill stick with it and see if I can use it better any key changes recommend?

The controls take a bit getting used to for sure. I managed ok with mouse and keyboard but you might wanna look into using a controller, at least for combat and then switching back to mouse and keyboard for the inventory management etc.

Its mainly using the magic that I struggle with while in combat as I have to remember which is which on the numbers

I must admit, I don't use the other signs as much I wanted to. Even after they patched it, it seems the most useful is still just popping Quen and then going to town on everyone. I did rely more on rolling in my last playthrough though.

You could press space and then select the signs that way, but it does go into slow motion and could get annoying for you.

Towards the end I was mainly using Igni, since I had it upgraded for AoE effect.
Set everyone alight and pick off the 1's that are busy trying to put out the flames. :p

I must have started this game about 5 times and never really got into it, then for my final playthrough got mid way through Flotsum and was hooked.

Fantastic game if you give it a chance.
