Just watched the hope trailer on Gametrailers. F'ing EPIC!! Can't wait to play this. I am on Chapter 4 of TW1 so hopefully I will finish it this weekend.

I wonder if it's possible to cross-reference the pre-load with the retail DVDs to find out what's missing then re-assemble the complete game loader and be able to play...

I believe retail copies have a one time online activation where some files(s) are downloaded in order to play the game.

Everyone hates the first missions, they are dreadful. Then the game gradually picks up

Shame you did not play longer,The Witcher actually gets better the longer you play it,especially when you get to town on ACT 2 and onwards.

I have played The Witcher 4 times now right through .

Yeah, I was thinking it might be something similar to how Valve do it where even the retail copies are incomplete meaning piracy is nearly impossible before launch as only they have the full loader.
