The Witcher 3 Benchmarks

Kind of regretting that I got Titan X for this game. Should have gone 980sli way as they are much quicker. Lol, even 970sli will be probably quicker than TX as this game does not use more than 2,5 GB card memory @1440p.

As is usual you will find in most cases you will be limited by the core speed of the card before vram. Especially with a single card. The Pascal small chip card could be every bit as fast as the TX with 8GB and £300 similar to how the 970 out does the original Titan now mostly. That's only speculation though of course. Now if you're playing Watchdogs Ultra at 2160p with 8xMSAA like Kaap that's a different story :p

Well I've played some on both 347.88 and 352.86 now, same section and tried to do as close to the same things as I did before. Almost identical performance, at most 1 - 2 fps higher on the newer drivers.

Have to say I’m a little disappointed after how well GTX V ran, on this game with a mix of high and medium (and a lot of the AA options turned off) I’m getting 48 – 62 fps, which for me is just about playable, any more settings turned down and I really notice the quality difference.

Using a 780 @ 1226/3333 and a 4790k @ 4.6 @ 1440p

What sort of results are you guys getting with R290s ? I'm hoping to be able to run this on my tv @4k 30hz smoothly. Has anyone been able to change the crossfire profile to work or do you think one card will be able to run 30fps solid with setting turned down for the time being ? Hope AMD release something today.

I'm runing 1920x1200 with VSR 2560x1600 with everything max out (hair off and SSAO).
FPS 35-50 range on stock clocks.(1040/5200)

When you look at the cards with the 30fps limit it's no surprise really, and the limit only seems to be in place at certain presets.

Please wait for it to switch to 1080P 60fps before watching but I am quite impressed with the graphics and whilst performance is hard, it still isn't bad.
