The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

What made you not like it, the combat? If so, give it a chance, it made me rage at first but once I got used to it I started to love the game. First fight with Letho was a friggin' mare!

I can't play it because of the FOV :( It really, REALLY annoys me, and I simply can't play it.

I love what they're doing, I commend them for making ambitious RPGs and having the mindset that listens to fans. However, the Witcher franchise just never did much for me. I can't relate to the main character. I wish I could customize his looks at the minimum, but also make more choices with regards to personality and professions. I hope they will hurry up with that futuristic RPG they were working on, and that it has more options.

As much as I love the series, having an established playable character has always let the series down somewhat. I accept that many people just will not like Geralt, and personally, I don't find him the most engaging character either tbh.

I think he's awesome, craps all over any variation of "Commander Shepard" that's for sure. :p

i think he's awesome...would have been a good main/secondary character of the series, but not necessarily a playable one imo. The thing that lets him down is a lackluster Voice actor. Improved in the second game, but the first was appalling!...probably 2nd to Connor from AC3.

I was hoping they might do something for TW3 that has you playing as a different character, but still following Geralt's story. Kind of like MGS2(but obviously with a better character than Raiden!). Could have been interesting.

PhysX is ok sometimes although not needed really, but framerate can drop with physX enabled in a lot of games, i have only tried one game with nvidia fur technology and the performance was bad even with sli. What i found is that sometimes if not most of the time i have to reduce graphics settings to get better performance, which in my honest opinion is defeating the object.

Less concerned about fur effects and more concerned about Mantle's chance of been used. Its a (potentially) huge AAA title and would be a blow to Mantle getting a solid foothold.

For the physx stuff I can't imagine why nvidia is ever going to let anything like that run on AMD GPU's (not sure how this would work?). Its one of their selling points and off the back of The Witcher 3 they could probably make a killing.

Better still if the game is late 2014 and mid/high end Maxwell gets a release imagine how many units they could sell if they made a deal and had The Witcher 3 bundles!

I don’t think Mantle is going any where near this game. It's got Nvidia all over it, and it's probably way to late in the development cycle to start incorporating Mantle in to the game.
