My copy arrived today, just installed and patched, about to fire it up, cant wait

Ok heres my first impressions..

Superb production values, it feels like you are in a film! Graphics are very good, in fact a lot better than I expected. I know its a bit early to say, but I have a feeling I'll really enjoy this game.

I have to admit the controls take getting used to with the different modes. ie over the shoulder and isometric. Also I keep right clicking the mouse accidently when in OTS mode and casting a sign. I have to drill it into myself that I should press middle mouse to look around - doh!

So far am well chuffed I bought it. It looks like they put a hell of a lot of effort into this I hope everyone goes out and buys it sd it deserves to do well. Shame about some of the official reviews its had tho. ie like that 6/10 one someone mentioned earlier. Its scandelous.

Must say a big thanks to you guys for highlighting this game to me, I cant believe I hadnt heard about it before :/ , loving what little of the game ive played so far really is immersive and I have a feeling im going to be playing this more than the copies of crysis and ut3 ive got on the way.

Just bought it myself after reading through the thread, sounds like just the sort of game im after and cant wait to try it. Just my luck that my dvd drive just died. Having to copy the contents onto the laptop>mp3>pc, shouldnt take too long

LOL, I can move the view with the middle mouse but for some reason my stupid brain keeps making me press down the right key instead. So I keep casating signs by accident.

Hehe I should get used to the controls when I have another bash tomorrow.

It's just the one, when you kill it, it stops spawning. Just save your game, chug all the potions you have and run out of range when you get low and eat some food and repeat.

Yeah that sucks. I just kept running past until i'd had enough and owned it. A tip: you can run faster in dangerous zones by drawing your sword in fast stance

I just wish the devs would get a patch out to stop all the crashes im getting, ive had 3 crahses within 3 days, usally stop playing for the rest of the day, after a crash.

Was just finished talking to the auld codger saying he was evil and such and it crashed :mad:

Well I've just started playing it.. All patched up and everything. And I've already hit a bug.

Leo has just been killed at the start but I can't get out of the lab. When I try and leave, Leo is stood there still alive and he tells me "We need to get to the lab".. Grr! :mad:

Ill give it another bash when im back from the pub (cmon man u!)

Just sold my grfx card on ebay towards a new 8800gt, but there all outta stock! So wont have a PC to play it on untill there in stock

Installing the game on laptop now and hoping to copy my saves over

I thin it might run on lowest settings :cool:
