The Witcher series (Netflix)

WTF did I just watch?!
did you watch ciri wandering around in a desert for a full episode?

No wonder cavil left..... he must have saw these scripts long before they started filming this season.

It's like remaking the buffy series but having all the focus be on a different character.. because no stronk women existed before like 2015 or whenever this crap feminist trend took over the movie industry.

Whats that thing xalled again EG score or whatever? where if your show/movie isn't diverse and woke enough it can't be entered to win awards....

If you thought the conclave ball episode was bad, just wait until you see the penultimate episode of this season...

Having no prior witcher exposure, I didn't think the show was going downhill as bad as some but god, this season was so so poor. The entire series has gone from feeling like a HBO classic to a poor CW show.

Still trudging slowly thru the first 5 episodes.

I also admit I dont fully know whats going on - but that is probably due to me looking at my phone due to extreme boredom. :D

Another series that could have been great but got "woked" to death.

I barely made it through that Ciri episode! I was just waiting for them to cut to something else but it wouldn’t stop lol.

I didn't want to wait for the last few eps so just started it too and am having a similar experience. I liked the earlier seasons and was on board for the ride but it's getting hard to follow. Doubtful it'll survive beyond new Geralt 2.0 given the general reaction how ruthless Netflix are with the cancellations.

was there a whole book about ciri wandering through a desert?
Yes they're in fact doing a book every episode, it's quite impressive.

I just love the complaints about there being other characters and it's not just Geralt wandering around saying **** every episode. It's like complaining GoT wasn't just Jon Snow on screen every episode.

I love how some complain they deviate too much from the books and others are complaining about things that are straight from the books :D

My judgement has nothing to do with the books as I've never read them and have no idea what was supposed to happen.

I just think the screenplay, pacing etc was just really awful.

It's a shame as season 1 was great.

My main complaint is I don't think they convey the world very well in terms of distance between places, where the different characters are in relation to one another etc. I can imagine it is challenging to follow if you're not familiar with the material. This season has felt pretty close to the books though so I'm not sure I buy the "Cavill saw the scripts and wanted out" arguments. It's clear they're much closer to the books this season than last.

loved the first series but it just slowly got worse. There was maybe an episode worth of Geralt in the last series. If they wanted to do a series on the others then why not just call it that.
