The Wizard of Wolls: Follow the yellow brick gains

I could give that a try also, albeit there seems to be a shortage of plates around these racks. Funnily enough, as soon as you've said that it reminds me how I used to do just that in Bannatynes  :D

Hmm that is really tempting actually, thanks for the recommendation!

They're really good - light but solid and just work - my gym switched to bumper plates for the racks with platforms and it makes swapping plates super quick and easy. I've seen people dual wield to make it even faster but one is enough. You can use the 1.25kg/2.5kg plates but the dead wedge has a nice smooth ramp to roll the plate up rather than having to use momentum to get the plates ontop of the smaller plates. People at the gym are always asking to borrow mine!

I think I'm going to grab myself one too, loading plates on your own is a right ballache.

Seriously? Most people I've heard first getting into weights have said their arms felt like rubber or really heavy arm pump similar to motocross after a session. Numbness.

Oh yeah I getcha now, just not heard the term before! He lifts a bit, but young lad who doesn't have many friends in to it. This was his first session with someone who knows what they're doing, will be interesting to see him at work tomorrow :D

After a mini leg session yesterday evening, today is did precisely.... Nothing. My body has been screaming for a rest, the DOMS have been tough and I've felt physically exhausted. Already today I feel a bit more human. So lesson for you all - rest is a good thing; even when sipping on dat der jooce.

Did a second chest session yesterday instead of hitting shoulders. Was expecting it to be a wash out but still hit respectable numbers.
