It must be deeply frustrating when through no fault of your own the medal is lost in a team event. It did look as if he was going a bit over the top remonstrating with James Ellington in particular though.
Kilty has a history of anger management issues unfortunately and has attacked his teammates a number of times on Twitter on through the media. I can understand being frustrated but he just seems like a naturally horrible individual.

Probably what the guy who came 2nd in the 5000m is thinking too.

Maybe. I wasn't being entirely serious there but it was a silly thought that flashed through my mind and I figure either you laugh about such things or it potentially starts to get a bit depressing how bad things are in so many sports.

I'd have to say I didn't know about his history of attacking teammates in the media, that's not the sort of thing you'd ever want from a teammate.

Great run by Ayana in the womens 5,000m to beat Dibaba so comfortably. Kiprop in the mens 1,500m was ridiculous as well, he just seemed to be sitting at the back of the lead pack waiting until they got to the final lap and then went wide to overtake the whole field - is it just so easy for him he wanted to give himself a real challenge?

Knives are out for Kilty and Ellington this morning. It was Ellington who slowed too early and pundits, commentators and the media are now destroying them for ganging up on Ujah who none of them wanted in the team.
