After they all sang one song i got bored senseless of it and switched off, this years show is dying slowly, i hate to actually admit it but it was only slightly interesting when Wagner was in as you know he was going to be bad on a new scale.

I dont see it... she does NOTHING that hasnt been seen before and been done a thousand times better. She is somewhere between rubbish and average at something she specialises in. Waste of space and has been hyped up beyond belief. She is nothing special.

It's so frustrating to see the judges providing gut churning cringe worthy compliments. It's a disgrace!
Danni dared to brave a negative comment tonight and Cher's response was a lingering 'Hmmmmmm'. I'd have told her where to get off!!

Hehe nah I got the sarcasm in the comment (surely nobody could say that seriously??). It was more directed at chers comments rather than your own, was just using it as a tag on reference. xD

Like a lot of other people I thought Cher's initial audition was pretty good, but since then she's gone downhill in my opinion. Her version of Love the Way You Lie was terrible, she failed at the Rhianna parts and failed even worse at the Eminem rap bits, it's a bit of a disgrace she'd even attempt that song.
I actually think One Direction could be the most successful act once X Factor has finished. Not that I'm saying I like them, I personally think Matt is the most talented act in the competition, but I think One Direction have the potential to be a decent boyband.

So basically every x factor contestant ever then? Only takes an average voice, a vocoder, and the magical advertising agency that is the crap factor, and roberts yours mothers brother a STAR. Im definitely applying for this **** next year, its easier than getting JSA.
+ I'm sure matt can play a guitar but just cause he can doesn't mean even when the song has no guitars in it, you should stick one in front of him and make him pretend he's playing one.
+Tonight's show was how to take 5 contestants with potential and get them to murder brilliant songs.

I like how Cher says she is only confident a cocky when performing on stage, yet when she finishes and is being interviewed, she is very cocky, especially tonight after Danni's comments, who does she think she is :/
I think if the show is to be run again, the Mentor thing needs to stop. If they're going to have one, it needs to be someone independent.

she's 10x times worse at rapping than she is singing. people here compared her to Lady Sovereign...sorry what?? you dont have to like Sovereign or her music to see that she's actually a brilliant rapper. Cher is not. It's actually fantastically funny that people would even put them on the same playing field.

Its not really a comparison of their talents (or lack of) but more to do with the genre they fill and how little the public actually want it. Sovereign came out as a dodgy little white girl rapper (all of whoml have the same rapping vocal it seems i.e. aweful put on accent with a rapping beaver tone) and the public said 'meh', now Cher is on Xfactor she is being made out to be something special and different and something people want but theyve already shown thats not true.
I mentioned a comparison earlier, but only to say that what Cher was being lauded for and called new and different had been done a while ago and done far better by Lady Sovereign, I can't believe people involved in the music business wouldn't already know this.
If you want an example of how *exactly* this has been done before check out some of the stuff Lady Sovereign did with the ordinary boys, taking a sung only song and putting a rap piece in it.

Cher really is ****ing awful, seriously painful to listen to.
