Bit random in my book with the Matt and Rihanna pairing.:p

Rhianna is a modern artist who is popular, has a non so amazing voice but is very versatile much like Matt, i see it as a perfect pairing.

Cher will not doubt be semi successful after the show, N-Dubz have already said they want to work with her....

O I'm not saying it won't work. Just thought they'd stick him with a male vocalist.

I guess it's fresh to see something different.

Latest rumour is that all 4 finalists will be releasing an individual single

Albeit in iTunes :p

Hardly worth voting now , not that I ever have anyway ;):D

The pairings of stars and X Factor acts have been confirmed for the celebrity duets on this weekend's final.

Simon Cowell's boyband One Direction will team up with Take That star Robbie Williams, while Matt Cardle will partner with US popstar Rihanna.

Cher Lloyd will be reunited with her bootcamp mentor will.i.am, while Rebecca Ferguson has been teamed with Christina Aguilera.

Little different from what I heard, shame really, Matt and Christina would have made a good pair.
will.i.am will let cher take stage and make her look good, she has the best pairing there imo.

will.i.am can't sing/rap either, so she won't look as bad as she would if she had a duet with a decent artist.

no way he would be put with a male singer as most of the songs that Matt has performed are songs by female artists :p

She will indeed be bad, compared to Eminem, but then give Cher 10-15 years to refine her "art" (as Eminem has had) and I have no doubt that she will be doing a good job. The plus point with Cher is that she can rap AND sing, mixing the 2 together. Eminem only raps.

You focus way too much on vocal quality. The top selling artist over the last few years is Lady Gaga and she certainly isn't the best vocalist out there, yet she has a certain something, which attracts people to her. She is different and unique. Cher can also be different and unique, but she will need a strong marketing team behind her, to work on this area.

A lot of people seem to compare an XFactor contestant, still trying to win, with an established artist. This is totally wrong. You wouldn't compare A.Burke while she was still trying to win the competition, to what she is now, as she has now moved on and improved. JLS are the same and in their current form/ability would easily win most XFactor finals.

Cher is the only artist, the likes of which XFactor has yet to see. This is the only reason why I believe the Cher has a chance to make a career for herself. The big problem for her is that the votes are going against her, which shows that the public, for whatever reason, just don't like her. This means that her marketing team will need to re-invent her (perhaps give Cher some lessons in humility). If they successfully re-invent her, there are MASSIVE possibilities for Cher. Cher cannot make it on her own and like any other successful artist (B.Spears, Spice Girls, Lady Gaga, etc), will need a VERY strong marketing/management team guiding her.

I don't think she needs any reinventing. She's only 16-17 and has managed to keep her image in what must be very difficult circumstances. She's no way my brand of music I can't stand to watch her sing but I can appreciate what she does will appeal to her fans. I like listening to Robbie Williams sing good voice but can't stand to look at the man.

However should she change and have some humility because the middle aged couch potatoes say so? I don't think so I would say if she has 2 good singles she's on her way.

It's all about the image and I'm sure feisty rebel goes down well with loads of teenage girls.

Feisty Rebel or ***** Chav........

probably the latter.:p

I think some of us are just rather baffled why anyone would want to buy a ticket for Cher.

She's pretty average vocally, doesn't look great (and that's being tame) and comes off as far too arrogant for someone who doesn't back it up.

Hate is a strong word and probably isn't appropriate but she does generate strong resentment of some kind for a lot of people.

That being said, unless there's some sort of miracle, Matt Cardle will win and at least for once, the best singer/performer will actually win this "supposed" talent show.
