Cheryl's mic was next to her mouth while Buble's mic was about 2 foot away which made it so obvious he was miming.

It's impossible to sing so close without picking up heavy breathing, gasps etc.

The same goes for One Direction. Both of these groups look as if they have been thrown together and then asked to perform after an hour's rehearsal.
