***The X-Factor Thread - ALL X-Factor Related Stuff In Here***

Wonder if there will be another rage against the machine thing for the xmas number 1 this year.

Well apart from the one posted before, i also heard they want fairy tale of new york for xmas no 1 this year, its the 10 anniversary of Kirsty MacCols death.

I wish people would just buy what they want to buy.
Surely the whole 'campaign to stop xfactor' is just as sheep like as buying the xfactor single.

I've long since stopped taking it seriously.

I hope Waggers wins it to kettle Cowells swede.

The whole thing is a pantomime isn't it?

I'm not entirely sure that Cowell would even be bothered if Wagner won it. At the end of the day Cowell will make millions off the ones he can anyway, regardless of who wins it. Plus Cowell probably actually quite likes Wagner being in the show, because all the while Wagner is in it there are loads of people voting for him (which means £££) under the impression that its annoying Cowell. Meanwhile Cowell is playing up the annoyance so that it keeps people paying to vote to keep Wagner in. Its all about the Kerching and Wagner is making some Kerching for Cowell :)

As (I assume) you don't know the "skanky ho", what's with the vile twisted resentment? You need to get a grip. Seems she's only trying to better herself in life as is the rest.

My lodger was in town the other day having a fag break when she saw Cher walking through town wearing a big coat with the hood up and being accompanied by a minder.

She said Cher wasn't plastered in make up, looking pretty minging.

She also said that a guy went up to her to ask for her autograph, who she completely ignored and walked straight past.

Looks like she's setting herself up for a career as diva from the outset.

Couple of things that annoy me about this weeks show

1. Beatles week just as the back catalogue is available on itunes big payday for the show producers and Beatles how about just picking some good songs that suit the contestants instead

More than a couple of things annoy me about this show. I am usually on computer or distracted by other things but pipe up to make comments on what is clearly scripted, who's miming, etc :)

All this doesn't stop it being on in my house every week though!

Anyway, it was hard not to notice the blatant mass marketing going on this week. Beatles available on iTunes, Beatles best of album in shops and then low and behold the Xfactor is doing a Beatles night. I notice that it was endorsed with a personal message from Paul "I love milking the golden teet" McCartney at the start of the show. If that wasn't bad enough I lost count of how many times the new best of album was on in the adverts.

Quite unbelievable how badly it was plugged...so "in your face" it's hard to avoid it. I for one have never been a victim of mass marketing or subliminal advertising but I could see how many people might fall in to that trap.

Still...at least I have got one more Xmas present crossed off the list ;)

Wagner to win!!

Just admit you're watching Xtra Factor.

The posts we have in here with people saying:
My wife's watching it
My girlfriends watching it
My sister has got it on
Somebody 200 yards down the road has got it on but I can hear it
I'm having a wee in the toilets of my local pub but I can hear it in the lounge

Nobody is going to think you're gay for watching the comedy that is X-Factor (maybe).

*whistles nonchalantly whilst keeping his rear end against the wall at all times*

I think it's funny wagner's still in, i think the general public are sick and tired of these "drama queens" still going through, while the one's that can actually sing and potentially have a good record deal get kicked out, but i believe that Mat could be potential winner always give's his best.

Unfortunately I had to endure X Factor's version of Heroes as I (very, very quickly) finished off my food before I ran away. One of my favourite songs, what an absolute butcher's job they did of it. Never heard a song destroyed so comprehensively.

Why do the majority of people not seem to get disgusted by some of the ridiculously unprofessional and rather cruel things the female judges like to say?

I mean last year you had Danni basically trying to "out" that lad Daniel as a bi-sexual.

Then we have Cheryl pretty much bullying (completely out of context with what she's there to do) Wagner, just to try and look down her nose at him.

Don't get me wrong, it's Matt or Rebecca's to lose but I do hope Wagner stays in for a week or two more just to shove up it these people.

Quite normal for a teen her age

Not helped by her appalling diet of junk food, chocolate at energy drinks!

Thats clearly not true many a song has been much more harshly handled, yes it's not the origional and it's not a master piece but it's certainly not the worst cover in the history of the world and it is for a very good cause.

It seemed to me that Cheryl just wanted to pick a fight.

Also, Cheryl must think that coming from a council state is something to be ashamed of.

If had grown up on a council estate and somebody pointed this out, my reply would be, "yep...and?"

Clearly Cheryl sees coming from a council estate as something to be ashamed of and didn't like it when Wagner discussed this point with somebody.

Wagner dealt with Cheryl as only a mature man could and completely turned the situation around, which was very impressive. I don't think I could've dealt with that situation so tactfully and come out of it smelling of roses.
