Wagner was great :D
I wonder if they were trying to use that first song to kill him off, but now its backfired on them? Or did Louis really think that was a great choice (lyrics?! no dancers (what makes wagner fun is the performance))?

I am still coming to terms with the utter awesomeness of , not one, but two songs by my lord Vargner , I am truly not worthy

Voted once for each song :p

Cher seems to have a massive attitude and huge arrogance. Its plain to see for all but nobody seemed to mention it as far as the show goes, when Danyl was absolutely crucified for it last year.

Id run down the street screaming YEAH BABY if Cher and Katie go. Followed next week by Rebecca, its actually starting to frustrate me that an adult can't actually walk and sing.

My personal take on last night. Seemed a bit "strange" that both Katie and Cher had a crack at singling last, the prime spots on the show. Read into that what you will. But two shows running for Katie.

I'm usually a Katie fan, but she was awful, both songs this week, it did make me wonder whether the audience was paid to cheer or they only filled it with Katies family and friends. Last place.

Wagner... dear God, I almost liked his first song. Perfect mind you as he is a total creep. Might be in the bottom 2.

Mary... didn't like any of her songs. Have never liked her personally and I hate the faces she pulls when she sings (not quite as bad as the gurning Cher mind). Might be in the bottom 2.

Rebecca - love her voice, given the right song she can be stunning. Loved both songs last night. In the Final

Matt - Average first song, stunning second. Safe as houses. In the final.

One Direction - talentless, cheesy puppets. I can't stand them and would love to see a cage fight between those 5 Vs Wagner and his tiger.... Grrrrrrrrr. Unfortunately I think they will be safe tonight.

Cher - Enjoyed her performances, I usually do. Even though she is annoying and arrogant. Probably safe.

Would love to see the backs of One Direction & Mary. I surprised myself by not say Wagner

Prediction for the 2 to go. Mary & Katie.

Wagner in the papers makes me laugh a plot to get him off the show, does he actually believe he is good LOL. its only muppets voting for him to annoy cowel he is in.

No he doesn't think he is good. He thinks that he shouldn't be hounded out just because the judges are unhappy people keep voting him :p

The last few weeks have been rubbish. :/ Rock?! Really?! Whatever... it was more like cheese.. and why do they choose the SAME ****ing songs that have been chosen in previous series'?! There are PLENTY of Rock songs out there - bloody do something different!

Urgh... anyway...

Wagner - I actually would prefer him to stay I liked Creep!

One Direction - BORING nothing amazing about them, little brats!!!

Cher - I can see the appeal and she is one of the acts I look forward to seeing the rapping is a bit boring now

Katie - me and the girls were shouting abuse at her the WHOLE time she was on... we don't appreciate her desperate attempt to make it big, including the whole image change to try to prove that she's so 'poor little targetted unpopular girl' urgh... WEASEL!!! She looked like a tramp and ruined Sex on Fire (why would you get someone to sing that song after Jamie Afro's amazing rendition?!) Cheryl's face pretty much sums up how we all feel about Everybody Hurts when Weasel opened her mouth and sung the first line - badly!!! Thank you Sky+ for giving us a repeat performance!!:

Mary - Boring! Although it was nice to see her move around a bit this week

Matt - Amazing second performance!

Rebecca - As have said above - when is she going to do something a bit different - i.e. not stand still closing her eyes and using her hands.... nothing about her appeals to me.

So... Mary and Katie to go I hope. Rebecca too if possible.. then One Direction, but knowing how the shows going Cher will probably be in the bottom 3.

BB x

I never realised that a grown woman could truly be as timid as Rebecca. Something must've happened in her life, for her to turn out the way she has. She needs to grow some balls :D

Real life can be horrific at times, especially when other people are involved unfortunately.
She has a nice voice at times, shame her lack of confidence is hindering her.

Does Simon make any money from the text and phone votes that people pay to use ?

If so then he might look annoyed for the camera then stick two fingers up and light a 50 quid note tab and quaff a pint of Bollinger when it's off.

What songs did Cher ruin with rap last night ? I took the liberty of switching off when X-Factor started.

She did Avril Lavigne 'Girlfriend' with a rap halfway through and Aerosmith ft. Run DMC 'Walk This Way'. The first song was cringeworthy, it's a hateful song anyway and she managed to make it worse. The second song wasn't quite as bad but she still ruined what's actually a really good Aerosmith song. How Cheryl can possibly claim Avril Lavigne is rock is beyond me, though most of the acts didn't do proper rock songs.

The only performances I thought were good last night were Matt's second song, which was brilliant, and One Direction's second song. Mary was awful, she just shouted her way through both songs; Katie massacred Sex on Fire, it was genuinely one of the worst versions of the song I've ever heard; Rebecca was pretty boring, but she still sung the songs well; Wagner was actually quite entertaining, and I found myself enjoying his first performance, though mostly because of the lyrics!

The judges are becoming the most annoying part of this show, they refuse to genuinely criticise any performance. I remember a time on xfactor when Simon would have absolutely slated some of the performances on this show, he's completely changed now. There's literally no point having the judges on the show if they're not actually going to judge the performances!

Perhaps Cher needs booting from the X-Factor to kerb that annoying arrogance she has not to mention she is overrated, has little to no talent and seemingly protected by the judges.

Last week proved what a con the whole thing is. A talented soul singer gets the boot while Cher got through.

No he wasn't. Why do people keep voting him to stay?

Possibly to show Cowell that this show is a mockery of real singing talent??.

I dont watch the trash but my fiancee does and i have to say even i want Wagner to win just to get up Cowells nose along with the Geordie chav Cheryl.

In fairness she has de-chavved a bit since Girls Aloud came on the scene. ;)

I'm a geordie Spawn and I am not alone in saying that Cheryl gets on my wick. Doe eyes, eee ah luv you and L'Oreal adverts playing 24/7 with subtitles for southerners.

An extended holiday with no cameras or paparazzi would fit the bill nicely.

Sorry Von no disrespect to Geordies but shes just one person i just cannot take too...she has no talent other than looking pretty with a little help of course;) and how she got this gig when shes not an accomplished singer is beyond me in all honesty. It makes me laugh that she can sit there and judge better singers than her, im waiting for the day when someone turns round to her and tell her stuff a sock in her gob....i have to admit i did laugh when i heard her comments to Wagner about him having a go at her roots ie council estate etc...Cowell put her in her place by telling her that she was very unprofessional. The other funny thing i hear is that she wants to quit the UK...thank god and go over to the states to make it big....god help the Americans because they wont have a clue as to what shes on about when she opens her gob:p.

I should have said no offence was taken Spawn. Lol.

I agree entirely that while she may look the part, she is an average singer at best and I'm pleased she was rollicked for having a dig at Wagner and even more that he had his say back at her. ( even though she clearly didn't like being told. )

Danni falls into same bracket for me. Judging a talent show when she is seemingly bereft of it as well.

I don't care what anybody says but there is only one artist I have looked forward to every week.
She may have been hit by the ugly stick and could win a professional gurning competition but Cher Lloyd ticks all the boxes for me.
Flame on.

Hey, I like Cher, too.

She is certainly not the best singer (Matt and Rebecca are ahead of her in that area), but Cher can perform in pretty much every way possible. She is versatile and is prepared to push herself. If you compare her to say Rebecca, who is a one trick pony and extraordinarily boring.

Record execs will be looking for someone who can sell records and sell concert tickets (concert ticket sales is where the money is). Cher will increase her media profile by appearing in the newspapers (saying and doing, "things"). I can't imagine Rebecca appearing in newspapers and doing much for her media profile.

Cher will sell her music, her concerts, her merchandise, etc and ultimately (out of this year's contestants) I think she will probably make the most money, for herself and her record company.

Even Matt - I'm not sure what he can say or do to get himself into the newspapers on a regular basis, to increase his profile.

The key is to have a high media profile, as this is what will sell you records. Cheryl Cole is living proof of this. Without the XFactor, would she have had No.1 (solo) singles? Without Ashley Cole (and the divorce), would she have had those No.1s?

Compare Cheryl Cole with say, Nadine Coyle, who also released her last single at a similar time to Cheryl's (last No.1) - Nadine's single went nowhere. Most probably this was because Nadine has not appeared enough in the English media. She is based in USA, so isn't in the position to get heaps of media attention in the UK. Had Nadine been on XFactor (instead of Cheryl), I'm pretty sure her last single would've at least made it into the top 5.
