Theft at work - RANT

go to the manager or phone the police/ get the phone barrd and get a new one if its insured

why? if this guy thinks he's going to walk out of the door with that phone he seriously needs a check up from the neck up!

He's not using it, there isn't a SIM in it. It's a matter of time till I get it back now.

did u know if u phone the fuzz he would get done?? knicking a phone is classed as seious now, it would even be classed as a mugging for the phone

his manager is a joke and id quit that job as its not making u happy

If his manager has failed to act on the complaint, that gives you the green light to do what you should have done in the first place, punch him in the ear.

Why don't you just go and get it off him? If it is in his pocket, grab it out???? seriously where is the problem??

stop being a loser, you are going to look like one when your manager realises you can't sort out a petty argument.

This is real kindergarten stuff, I certainly wouldn't be going to a manager about it as you will both look pathetic.

Weren't you the guy that was an IT director?

Dear lord, just walk up to him, tell him you want your phone immediately or you're going to contact the police, if he say's no, pick up the phone and ring your local police station (in front of him).

bunch of kids To be fair. I would have asked how much money he wanted and let him order a one himself. He was nice enough to lend you his card reader and you were nice enough to order one but he has obveously got sick of waiting. He took your phone even though its a lot of value to you that doesn't matter. It's the fact it's took all this time for you to get a reader back to him when you could have just squared up with him money wise. I'm sorry but your both to blame. He trusted you with it even though it was pennies.

Agreed.

Has the guy left the office at any point since he stole your property? If so don't be suprised thats it's in been stached or is in a bin somewhere.

Difficult situation, hope it all works out :]

If not, jump him from behind on the way home from work. Bash him senseless so wont remember what happened!

got the phone back. Basically my boss turned round and told him to
give it back before it goes firthsr. Pulled me to one side, had a chat, said it was pathetic, and a waste of his time. I said i agreed and warned him that i would esculate it so i did. Boss said fair enough, and thats the end of it.

The other guy is still getting his wrists slapped (hopefully for being so immature) lol
