Norovirus owned me for 8 hours straight. 3 days in bed recovering.
So glad it hit me 4 hours before I was due to go out and not half way through the night in the SU as there would have been one hell of a mess!

I had a very bad virus in the 2nd week of december. It was really bad, just puking and high temperature. Hated it!
I haven't been ill since I was about 4. Whole family gets puking virus' and I don't get so much as a cold :L
The OP's condition sounds nothing like that

I started to feel very unwell late last night, like a swimming sensation in my stomach with cramps. Couldn't last 2mins playing BFBC2 then it hit me like a brick. Non stop vomiting throughout the entire night and finally the projectile diarrhoea. At times it would flow out like a waterfall one way while i was puking up filling the sink at the same time. It got so bad that as you said i just wanted to die, i ended up collapsing on the bathroom floor and couldn't move.
When i wasn't puking and crapping, i was cramped up in pain while shivering and running a fever. I phoned up mum to see how she was getting on when i had about 10mins of free time and i heard her throwing up as soon as the phone was picked up, this morning my brother was taken in sick aswell.This all pretty much started not long after my sister decided to crap and puke all over the bathroom and clothes. The worst virus i've ever come across for many years, and another strange thing i was thirsty all night. Whatever i drank apart from not staying down id still be incredibly thirsty.
Less a month ago i was puking my guts up with a severe migrain and sickness and to be honest i would swap this for that any day. I'm using the computer now but i feel very weak and my stomach hasn't shut up, i can barely walk without feeling i want to collapse so i cancelled my work class. I've never had a bug stop me from leaving the bathroom
I had a bit of a bug last week. Started on wednesday and had stomach cramps and the runs. The worst of it was over after the first couple of hours, but I still had occasional bouts of pain and toilet related hijinks for a few days after that. Seems to be back to normal now, fingers crossed.

Had this on friday night. Thought it was a dodgy pint. Only after Mum became sick that I realised it was infectious. One of the nastiest bugs i've had in awhile and i've had a few!
Had it, or something similar, at the beginning of November. Felt awful with a bad stomach which caused nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. Recovered after one day though. Then the wife got it, but as usual she had to go one better than me and be worse and totally bed ridden for 2 days.
My Daughters had a couple of days off school with it but I don't think they had it as bad as us. We had a 9 month old baby girl in at the time and she got it too, again seemingly not so bad as us. Seems to unfair when babies get adult bugs. My foster boys didn't get it at all, not sure why they didn't get it, or maybe they got it so lightly as not to notice.

Woman I work with came in yesterday complaining of stomach ache, told her to go home but she didn't she has stayed at home today however the damage may already be done seeing as we share the loo at work
oops, well as long as you keep your hands clean and away from the mouth you should be ok.
Sucky, all i've had today is two rice krispie snacks and a warm horlicks, keep shivering and fell asleep in bed for an hr. Going to try and have dinner tonight, but will be pushing it though i need to eat. Lost enough weight as it is!
