There's just doesn't seem to be good games anymore.

The only 'good' game which I am looking forward too is Bioshock 2, but I'm feeling a bit wary about it. Sequels almost always suck :( It's going to be hard to re-invent that first feeling you get when playing Bioshock.

Everything now is just shoot, aliens, terrorists, evil evil communists and their evil ways -.-, or try and make a controversial storyline but end up with a pile of crap.

That being said, I do enjoy Mount & Blade, and would love that game to have more money thrown at it to truly bring out it's potential.

Personally the next few months are looking good for me, Dragon Age, Left 4 Dead 2, Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock 2.

Granted the majority of those are sequels yet I still can't wait to play them. Was just moaning in work today about them releasing all these games during term time when I'm meant to be studying. It's like the games industry is conspiring against me doing well in college :(

There's nothing wrong with the games, there's been some crackers recently. You're getting bored of games, it happens to us all.. then one day, you'll catch the bug again :)

It's so that todays youth will be idiotic and will not be able to create their own gaming business, therefore eliminating all opposition! I'm onto you gaming industry...hang on, there's men in suits knocking on the door...

What are you on about, there's loads of good games already out/coming out;

Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Dragon Age etc etc.

Left 4 dead 2, alright. Other two, I wouldn't count them as good. But it's all to do with taste. My taste just happens to be better than yours ;)

Hah, my taste is based on the amount of enjoyment a game gives me. Each of those have or are guaranteed to score +80% in all reviews written about them.

I say, your taste is just awkward.

Honestly your getting bored of games! Just get some other hobbies, reading, films and music are all good and then one day you'll get that bug to game back again.

Plenty of recent good PC games about and completing them in 5 hours is only if your silly enough to use a trainer or some other cheats to rush through in which case your only cheating yourself out of any challenge.

Resident Evil5 (around 60 hours gameplay time)
Batman AA (around 40 hours gameplay time)
Street Fighter 4 (around 100 hours gameplay time)
Fuel (around 100 hours gameplay time)
Fallout3 GOTY (around 100 hours gameplay time)
Battlestations Pacific (around 75 hours gameplay time)
Ghostbusters (around 20 hours gameplay time-but its very cheap!)

Obviously they are all multiplatform game designs but that's the way it is nowadays.

there are some that shines through, X3, sins of solar empire, L4D (all the value games really) GRID/DIRT these two was okay, but I would pic up an older one any day, can't forget fallout 3 :p all these games get boring or frustrating after a while through, sup com, COH, DOW, C&C (apart from RA3 which I think is dire compared with the rest)

also stalker, but its bugged to hell, well so is fallout :(

You seem to dislike MW2 just because it's a game where you "shoot terrorists"

It's far from generic, and the gameplay itself in CoD 4 was amazing. The story was well executed and avoided being a stereotypical "kill the baddies" game. I bet you've never even played it :p

nono I played MW xD I really didn't like it.

The singleplayer wasn't that good in my opinion ( I am possibly the only person that didn't like Captain Price...) the sniper mission was horrendous and the magic guns that when you shoot the pilot, the rotors begin to blow up randomly. Oh and the end was ludicrous...I won't say for spoiler reasons and I am technologicly inept, but come on!
The multiplayer I really didn't like, it was too arcady for my liking. Although I was a fan of world at war because of its different game style (slower paced and the tanks before the patch...loved artillery strikes and tanks blowing off everywhere :D)

I dislike the look of MW2 because it looks just like MW, I'm not going to buy a game which uses the same formula which failed on me. It's all opinion ofcourse, and the vast majority are against my dislike of MW2.

Wow...I over-use brackets. Terribly sorry if the above is incoherent, I'm a bit of a ****.
