There's just doesn't seem to be good games anymore.

I have a completion issue with games, which I think is where my opinion that games aren't as big as they used to be comes from. Proved recently with Dragon Age - I'm so very close to the end, yet Overlord bundle comes out on Steam and distracts me with shiny new nostalgia. Now I'll probably have to start up DA again in a year or so, just to see the ending.

On another retro note, I managed to persuade Mobil Rally Championship (the Revival 2005 re-issue) to work on my PC. Now that reminds me what a good rally game should be like - long, punishing 18 - 24 mile stages and the satisfaction of bringing the car in minus 2nd and 3rd gear and one of the rear wheels! The graphics still look reasonable even 10 years on and there's no stupid checkpoints to prevent you progressing to the next race.

Of course for the modern era ideally we want a new rally game which offers the courses from RC, the physics from Richard Burns and the graphics from Dirt.
