** THERMAL GRIZZLY - CHAMPIONSHIP THERMAL PASTE **

So for best performance with water cooling do we go for the kryo or the hydro ? , the range seems a little confusing. i'm guessing the Kryo is the premium paste in the range but doesn't that render the other 2 a little pointless ?

Excellent will have a read now

Cheers

Will this stuff out perform Coollaboratory's Liquid Ultra Thermal Paste

From what I have read previously before the product was brought to market

On IHS - No difference, but Grizzly is easier to apply, less risk than CLU/P and easier to remove.
On Dye - CLU/P is much better if you are delidding

ok so for watercooling the hydro is perfectly fine. it is the application it is designed to excel in.

kryo is the ultimate performance paste from the brand and is targeted for much heavier useage scenarios. it is more durable and works best in pretty much any scenario. but has an associated price to match.

Curious about the thermal pads, however I'm not sure what the w/mk rating is for pads that come with waterblocks are!? Is 8w/mk going to be much better than what comes with a waterblock? I've seen fujipoly that are like 18w/mk, 8 seems low!?

I spread. Did not see much difference in several methods used.

Yes better than ic diamond and not scratching IHS.

For delid good as non conductive. Liquid metal around 2c better but any bleeding is a short to cpu and its gone.

Great news for those that delid. Always see people being more worried about using clu/p than scalping the lid off.

Lol I was the exact opposite, the delid process worried me far more lol In fact I even damaged the Die when I delid, however I got lucky and it still worked fine lol

I've used CL Pro on the Die, and CL U on one of my GPUs, was easy to use, just need to apply with care.

I may pick up some of the grizzly for my 3770K under Phase and some thermal pads for a 6950 GPU I have with a waterblock already installed see how much better the pads perform over a set of stock pads.

Ordered some, need to remount my block on my CPU, currently has some CLU on it, but as usual the mount is bad because CLU is a pain in the ass.
Every time I used the stuff I gave up and remounted with some GC Extreme, but that ran out, so come next weekend we shall see how this fares!

This also has a much better name. :D
