They are Billions - RTS meets Zombie Hordes !

Wow, I haven't seen anything about this at all. It looks pretty cool. Hopefully it goes on sale because I'm tight and wont buy it at full price lol.

It's currently on 10% off on steam - and imho well worth the current cost. The survival mode is excellent!

So as I was toying with this in my basket a PayPal payment suddenly came into my account which covered the cost! Fate?

Click.

Still stuck around 50days. Ran out of space this time. However a group of 9 soldiers you can clear the map and they make a great indent into hordesas well.

Just need to get lucky on map. Large area which can be pinched off in ~ large walls. Narrow ping points are no good, can't get enough ballistas/shock towers/soldiers to deal damage.

not sure what you need a tutorial for, its pretty self-explanatory. The only thing is workshop provides research, but that's about the only "hidden" (tells you if you hover over it) thing.

I suppose I’m just not used to the ui and had no idea of what/where to build, no idea you could harvest natural resources etc no idea about need to build stuff or even how to do it. I did watch some yt vids and that’s helped

I nearly managed to get to oil last night, but then they ran through my defences, does anyone have a picture of what an oil site looks like?

The oil sites are the small puddles/lakes

Been playing this myself got all the way up to the iron age in 90days ish and then got overrun because despite sending my “army” over to the incoming invasion they got stuck behind a building and i got overun instantly, didnt realise what had happened untill i looked around the map to see them all just stuck there. Almost threw my mouse thru the screen.

Absoutly fantastic game 100% unforgiving for the smallest mistake. Let one zombie in unnoticed and ur ******

Highley recomend to all rts fans even in its early acess state its well worth the asking price and the best rts ive played for an age

so addicted, got up to day 79. thought i beat the wave. totally unaware that it had split into two and attacked from the north and the east, despite saying from the north and the walls weren't even close to each other. If I had realised I could have stopped it but i didn't. another lesson learnt.

and Lucifer is pretty good.

but room good god you need a huge build area.

Picked this up in the sale today. Had my eye on other things but this comes highly recommended... Thought I can try it out.

Any advice or is it best to just jump in and get owned and learn from mistakes? :)

Jump in and learn IMO! Learn whats what after a few rounds

Still not managed to do the very final wave on default setting. Its hard!

Superb game! Addicted to say the least.

Only managed it on the easiest setting so far! everytime i fail it is due to having a weak spot where i least expected it, it can be game over very very fast lol

Also I need to remeber to make good use of the pause feature using the space bar while building etc.

It has been a long time since i have lost track of time in a game and got in trouble with the misses =D you can easily sink 3+ hours in a single game (you can save and come back to it tho)

I tend to use lots of snipers and archers then elite units stood by the walls at the back. what are people filling there towers with ?

I do love this game even though I’ve only played four hours and gotten to Day 23!

I’m still very much learning and I would love a guide you can read rather than a video (coz I’m old skool!)

Does anyone know what gpu will do 60fps/1440p as I’m thinking of downgrading my 1080.

My New tactic for this is to leave a large square around cc when starting out

Build up and continue game as normal, build a executor in the space around your cc everytime you have some spare cash. And obviously build heavy outer and sectioned defence as usual.

By the time the final wave comes you should have a cc basically surrounded by executor turretts and hopefully 2/3/4 layers of walls.

As soon as the final wave is announced, sell/demolish all non defence/tesla towers this means the zombies still have all your defences to wade thru, the horde doesnt quintupple in size as it wipes out all your houses etc etc and whats left should be dealt with by your cc defence.

I like to leave enough space for what ever titans havent been overrun to get back to the cc and then wall them in also.

I would hazard a guess that an intel HD 530 could do it!

Not the most demanding game ever graphically. They only recommend a hd3000 as minimum.
