Yo Yo Yo, check it out.
35 rolls of turf, each weighing about 30kg's in the back of an Audi A6 and you have full lowered action going on.
Also we had to travel about 20 miles up and down dale, it was worth it though for a lovely lush green lawn.

We had to guess but both said considerably more than 20kg's, one of us suggested weighing it then realised how sad that would have been, definately 25kg or over.

Must've been a LOT of soil with it. Which is unusual, no wonder you had to transport it all yourself.

6.1m x 4.1m so 25m2 or about 31 square yards, ordered 33 rolls, bloke gave us 35 rolls for 50 notes.

This has gone from suspension strain thread to garden force in a matter of 12 posts!!!

Does it say in the handbook about safe load levels at all? I know mine for trailer weights but not for actual car load!

Nice to see an estate being used as it was intended! Turf is damn heavy,it's usually damp when you get it aswell so....a lot of weight.

Well the journey back was a lot slower then the one going, and the bloke burst out laughing when we turned up and asked how we were getting the turf back and we both just turned and looked at the car.
