For once it isnt me!

It's been amusing to watch this one from the sidelines though. Particularly amusing is those who have wasted many many posts explaining how they dont care. They dont care so much they've posted 5+ times in the thread :p
I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have, it's kept me entertained anyway:D

:o

I was just stupefied that's all... honest. :o

Pfft, that isn't low. Our old Merc 230TE was lower. Lower enough the back shocks went, and it gained camber. Remember putting 6 lockers in there. Must have weighed a lot more then 60KG's. I miss that car.

chipper - where's the pics of your newly laid lawn then? :)

It isn't my lawn it's my mates, it's his car.
I'll get a piccy next time I'm round at his but to satisfy those that want to see a bit of lush green grass here's a quick picture I've just took of mine.

a lot of work currently in progress, the brown areas of lawn is where I'm top dressing to make it perfectly level, I'm also building a storage area at the bottom for toys.

It never wound me up because i never believed it & I thought the "Ok" would have indicated that well enough. I'll Never believe it to be quite ****** honest :p
Like others have said you cannot even put a Ton in a Transit van so why would i believe a ton has been in the back of an Audi :p
I'm a **** taker & have over loaded many a vehicle including Transits, I used to regularly put a ton & a half in my Transit but that had a Salisbury axle. It looked heavy but not sick heavy.
A ton in the back of an Audi would Kill it :p
I'd say it was more like Half a ton in the back of that & that i could believe.
Arguing about the insurance is ridiculous as it's fantasy.

Bare in mind we are all entitled to our OWN opinion & that is mine.

Just try this malc, next time your at a garden centre pick a roll of turf up, you'll feel it's definately over 20kg's. Also the turf we got was being cut up as we turned up so was still damp.
We did put 35 rolls in the car, wether you wish to believe that or not is entirely upto you, that was a couple more then what we needed for an area roughly 6m x 4m.

I like a thread with a bit of spice in it though, anyway I think this thread had about died a death now.:D

Chipper mate it's Totally cool & one of those situations that i would just have to see for myself. If you did get a ton in the back then I am one of the sort that would say Lol fair play to you. Like i said i am a **** taker & enjoy other **** takes rather than getting on a holier than thou trip.
If i posted what i have done in the past I'd get the same reaction as you have it's laughable. People want me to open up about myself & then react like this to something which in my mind is insignificant.
I wish we could just talk in a banter style rather than be judged by past happenings & mistakes but this is just the judgemental world we live in.
In All my years on this planet i have yet to meet a Totally innocent person.
like they say "People in Glass houses should Not throw stones."
It's worth finishing off by saying don't people realise this place would be far More interesting if people could actually post what they got up to in real life rather than having to edit there lives to conform to the accepted BS Holier than thou crap attitude that is prevalent here.

The problem you've got with 'Just posting what you get up to' is everything you do in real life thats not quite on the level can indirectly affect others - this is what makes some people get miffed/narked/holier than thou on you.

That is understandable & i to am effected by other peoples actions & the causes & effects on others. Trouble is unless you live a Completly Legal life you have no room to talk. The way people talk you'd think they never broke the law in there life which is quite obviously BS. Not only does Everybody break the law in some way or the other but they are also human so are prone to making mistakes.
To read some of the posts on these boards you'd think we ran overclocked Angels not overclocked PC's.

But thats human nature isn't it - people forget what they've done and focus on what is written in front of them. They'll sit there and complain about overloaded vehicles having, the week before last, done a ton on the bypass 'just to see'. It doesn't even enter their minds...
