I had this pre-ordered from ages ago on PS4, but then realised it was >£45 on PS4, or £15 on PC. So cancelled it with the intention of pre-ordering on PC.

Then I watched some gameplay and it looked incredibly boring.

May be worth it for £15, but I got Banished for £12 and Company Of Heroes 2 for £8 so that is more than enough games for now.
 
:3 better take a while to complete! don't want none of these 4hours of boring and then it's over that seems to be the standard for single player these days!!! :P

Why would pre-order incentives be suggestive of a bad game? GTA5 came with pre-order incentives, and that did pretty well :p

What? It is only £15 from key sites, which buy bulk quantities so get discounts, plus this is a Square/Eidos game, not an EA or Activision game so it is priced sensibly.

People writing it off because of price or bonuses are misguided. If it turns out to be bad, it would still be bad at £5. If it turns out to be good and you missed it because it was cheaper than normal, then more fool you.
 
I find when most people say a game takes 6-7 hours to complete I usually take double that. Look at Hitman, I tend to replay areas to get the most hilarious kills or to do it seamlessly, I Also don't skip dialog which most power gamers will do if they're trying to rush.

Wouldn't surprise me if it's leaked though.
 
Oddly enough I recently started playing Skyrim again after over a year away from it, almost immediately started playing it in the thief style, all stealthy, silent kills etc.

Haven't quite turned to murder yet.. but I can see it happening sooner or later!
 
Also got a voucher for Thief.

I was always Lytha style myself.
Not so keen on the lack of Stephen Russell's voice - That was one of the major signatures of the series... But will see how it goes.
 
I think its best to wait and see how it turns out, one thing that really bothers me is that they have completely removed the rope arrows and replaced them with hook points rather than being able to use them how you see fit.
As apparently what was possible back in thief 1 and 2 is two much for current programmers/hardware which is just a pathetic excuse.
