It looks very last gen on my 1400p monitor. Muddy textures and killzone ps4 looks a whole lot better at 1080. Far too many different buttons as well and its going to wind me up having to play it on a contoller

Also there seems to be a memory leak as its showing 3gb of vram used after alt tabbing out then back again
why? his is a WTF IS he probably played the game for an hour or two not long enough to discover annoyances and bugs it's just a first impression loads of crap games can give you a good impression but get old and tired fast

After watching his video I was happier to be fair as he done a pretty good showcase. Not expecting the game to blow you away but he highlighted you can change tons of settings to make it more challenging.
Will just wait till it's on offer now, glad I didn't pay £15+ for it.

He played for at 6 1/2 hours at least. His play-through timer stated before launching the game that he'd already played for 5 hours 36 minutes, and then the video is 51 minutes long.
Yup, was going to cancel my pr-order on the strength of some of the reviews but as I only paid the £15 I'm going to leave it. Looking forward to it again now.

he said the same thing about banished and then made tons of mistakes most people realise in their first game..
anyway I'd say the game is worth £15 or free which is what most people paid.
it's just a shame if people want another thief game this has to sell well.
if this sells well the people who make the decisions will see it as justifiable to have no jumping , fairly small enclosed levels etc

I fear the consoles are going to hold things back even more than last gen this time around. They simply are not powerful enough from the get go and nothing i have seen on either PS4 or Xbox One has made me go "wow" yet. They are even still struggling to run things at 1080p!!

This maybe bad for the GPU development as they are not taxing the hardware however some games need to go back to great gameplay and experience instead of making them look good but shallow/repetitive.

I've only played an hour so far, it's not bad, with no hud I like the random nature of stumbling on where I need to go (no hand holding, glowing loot or on screen prompts). Feels genuinely stealthy. Need to give it a few more hours before passing judgement.

after watching TB's video I'm itching to play, but not used a vpn before.. how safe is it? as my steam account is in 'good standing' and want it to stay that way.....
I don't want to preload as it doesn't give an install directory option, so using a US/Japan would turn the preload button into the Install button and therefore give me the option to install to my e:/ (not default directory)

Suppose we can hope for a high res texture pack, but I get the feeling that the developers have done with it.
