Thierry Henry is back

I think henry will do well then expected here.

Check this out:

You dont need pace to have vision and ability like this. No way could Ashavin, chamack or gevinho could score a goal like that

But MLS defence/keepers are like League 2 defenders/keepers

EPL is total different ball game, faster and physical

I think a lot of people are looking through rose tinted glasses here. A lot of people forget how truly average his overall play was for Arsenal in his last season. Whether you put that down to him not giving a **** or genuinely the PL being a step above beyond him, that's your call.

Yea thats true. he had a average seaosn in his last but lets be honets mate, his average season he produced and made a FAR better impact on our current crop of useless *****.

The question you lot should be asking is can he play better then our current crop of players?

Look at Ryan Giggs. much older then Henry and is one of united BEST players last year and this year so far.

I Think too many think just because his 34 and just because its 99.9% certain he wont play as great as he once was, think that he wont add to our team.

He set his standard REALLY high. regarded as the best player ever in the PL by many so even a half arsed/pensioner Henry could still play decent in the PL IMO compared to others in the league.

He wont play as great as RVP. no one is expecting that. he will however most likely play better then chamack, geivnho and ashavin. agreed?

Whatever the **** it is...what is it?
That's the god damn Gunnersaurus, and don't you forget it.

Please direct your carefully considered views to post #14. Co-incidence? I think not.

Yes that is a defensive error but Henry took advanatge did a quick turn and shot without even looking. Also, before people **** off MLS defending, go and watch some of crap defending by previous Title winners united who have leaked goals much worse then the above two goals Henry scored on the two clips i have posted

True mate. No Sarcasm here, he is obviously a true Arsenal/Premier League/French Legend and was truly a world class player. As long as his return is nothing less than average against us, I wish him all the best against every other team :)

Hehe cheers. what do u reckon though? do u think he will perform better then ashavin and co?

Difficult to say really, he could end up like Henrik Larson and Jari Littmannen when they came to the EPL in the twilight of their career. On his side, he knows the club, the manager and some of the players. Arshavin has looked pub standard in some games so Henry should have a few good games at least by that standard ;)

I like no 3 as it had me in stitches that dragon mascot running behind the goal when he scores...I just remember MOTD and ****ing myself over it...

You had to be there :(

My fav is when he was ordered to retake a free kick he had just scored against Wigan. The ref ordered a retake as the ball was apparently closer then the foul spot. Understandably unamused, he took the ball, moved it a yard back and curled it into the net. :D. I think it was #19 of the compilation.

Just to have Thierry around our young team will give them a boost and a goal or 2 against United at the end of the month wouldn't be bad

Good move? i reckon so as a 34 year old Henry is still far better then chamack, ashavin or gevinho

chamack, ashavin or gevinho bad?!?!

Think some people need to come see "johno-quick" in action (johnathan forte) down with us at southampton to see some truly bad strikers in action (id give one of my testicles for chamack or ashavin, you can choose which one!)

Oh and Henry back, can only be a good move just to get people to smile again as he is a bit of a hero (despite being an advertising sell out)

I'm not quite sure why you think the offer of your testicle would tempt somebody into selling you a player, but I'd quite happily kidnap Chamakh and take him to Southampton, if you promise not to.

I bet chamack, ashavin or gevinho are like, great we can sit around and earn the wage while he does all the hard work, its a stupid move by Wenger, its going to have negative effect on moral, imagine your workplace bringing in an ex employee that was the best the companys had in decades just for a few months to help the company.

Moral boosting.

Erm, Chamakh and Gervinho are going to the African Cup of nations? That's the whole reason they got him back for two months. As Cover.

Good thing for 'Arry though, Adebayor isn't going!
