Things we got for Christmas

My gran secretly bought me Galvin Green Goretex jacket and trousers for my golf.

Did not expect that at all. I was speechless!
 
some people are lucky and some work hard some are poor and some like me find it hard as today is my mothers birthday would have been 62 25/12/1949- 11/09/2010 god rest her soul give a thought for all those familys that wont even be having a christmas dinner stop thinking of our selves and give and help people who are less fortunate

I am no Scrooge but this thread is just fills me with disgust. The amount some people have spent/have had spent on them is just mind blowing. I have had a hamper off my parents, filled with sweets, meat, cheeses etc and I am so chuffed with it. I mean I noticed a coat earlier the thread for £500...

Think of those who cannot even afford a decent dinner today or who have no family to spend it with.

A rich person buying there kid something expensive doesn't mean the parent's bad, or the child's spoilt, ffs.

no one here has said this though. If someone gets quite a lot of expensive stuff and then says they are unhappy about it as they were expecting more then you don't think that is being a bit selfish/spoilt?
